We were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and staff was friendly and accommodating.

The mattress was not good, very small breakfast area, minimum options to eat for breakfast

No issues with a late night check in. Comfortable, clean room. Nice breakfast. (Waffles!!!!) I would.stay here again!

Property was decent. The room we stayed in appeared to be lightly cleaned. Our bathroom mirror was extremely dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned in a couple stays. The sheets on our bed had black markings on it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. For a cheeper hotel it wasn't the worst however cleaning improvements could be made!

This place was decent enough for a place to crash for a night. Bed was clean and comfortable and tbe pillows. The room smelled a bit musty and there was a damp feeling to it. Kind of like sleeping in a basement. I didnt like that they actually take a 200 dollar deposit off your credit car as well as payment for the room. Most places you provide a credit card number as a deposit but they dont actually remove the money. Now i must wait to be reimbursed. That I find rediculous considering how old the place is. It desperately needs to be renovated and updated. And breakfast only from 6-9. Well, we missed that. Silly, it should be until 11. But it works for a place to sleep.

Front desk personnel was nice and pleasant. The room was clean, but the bathroom needs an update. There was too much cologne smell when you opened up the room and that gave me a headache. Nice size television and the air conditioner was in good working condition. The picture of the room was exactly as pictured on the website. I would go there again the next time I’m in town.

Upon entering the room, we found the environment to be uninviting due to excessive heat and a stuffy odour, which suggested possible prior smoking in the area. The heating and cooling unit was in poor condition, dirty and operating loudly. Our room faced the parking lot, and the floodlight illuminating this area kept the room excessively bright at night. Installing wider curtains could potentially alleviate this lighting issue. The bed was positioned at an awkward angle, resulting in discomfort during our stay. A significant patch of plaster was visible on the wall in the washroom, indicating that maintenance should have been performed before guest occupancy. Additionally, we were surprised by the $200 security deposit. In comparison, we have stayed at higher-quality motels that required only a $50 deposit. Based on our experience, we will consider other motel options for our future stays.

Its not worth the price, everything is just limited and old fashioned, its time to update.

Room at the exit had strong smell of cigarette smoke - raised issue with front desk was moved to another musky room. Despite a no smoking sign people are smoking at the entrance to the lobby. Ample space on property for management to build a smoking shed away from the main building. Bed wasn't queen size, but a double. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.

I checked out Sunday morning and it is Friday and I still haven’t received my deposit back yet.

That I was charged my $304 for this day which is absolutely understandable but another $128 10 specifically from my bank saying ambassador super 8 charged again. I have called twice to talk to them and they wanted 100 number for super 8 at the specific location she has been nothing but rude saying she can't do anything about it this was not her charging I said I understand you didn't do it but your company did and I'm going to need you to figure it out because this is an unnecessary charge she has hung up on me twice I'm refuses to tell me what a manager will be in this is absolutely unprofessional and I'm not happy with the service here I'm now having to dispute it through my bank because nobody will help me the 1-800 number super 8 says each individual super 8 is privately owned and they can't go into anything to do anything to help me I can definitely post this screenshot of it saying my original charge and then the extra charge specifically from this super 8 ambassador location on huron church

It's an alright property for what you pay for. A bit disturbing that the security door guard was snapped right off which meant that people only needed a key card to get in. Despite it saying that it was non-smoking, the room had a strange smell to it. But other than that, it was clean and that means a lot. There are a few fast food places within a 5 to15 minute walk as long as you don't mind having large highway haulers go whipping by you. Keep in mind that it is NOT close to the airport so you'll be looking at a $20 cab fare and despite the number that come up with a 'Windor taxi' in your search, most of them only take the lucrative trips between Windsor and Detroit; not the airport. If I was only staying for a night, I could stay here again. But anything more, I'd look for something else.

The front desk staff was very nice. However, the place was dirty. Dirty towels, hair in the bed and the carpet was sticky.

The continental breakfast was lovely and a nice treat in the morning. The bedding looked clean, however the sheets and arm chair were stained, lamps were in need of repair and carpet needed deep cleaning. The room also was damp and musty. Would have been nice to prepare the room by turning on the AC before guests arrival.
