Relaxing stay in a great location for the purpose of our trip. We have stayed here before and were happy to return. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is beginning to show its age- some fittings are loose, tiles/grouting are wearing, the broom of the door is wearing away.

Room itself was comfortable. The let down was a level 1 room on a Saturday night - street noise from trams passing, the beat from a Nightclub and people shouting well after midnight was not what I expected given the cost of this room. Soundproofing requires improvement. Would expect better from Mantra.

We had a fabulous stay at Mantra Sydney Central. Perfect location to explore Sydney. Reception staff were super stars. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Bedroom area was comfortable and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Personally thought bathroom looked a bit outdated. Didn’t have the same standard as bedroom.

A handy stay over location central to Sydney and transport connections. Staff very helpful, friendly and dealt with pre-queries quickly. Room was clean and with most amenity. We were on floor 8 which captures a little bit of outside noise at night (its a very busy area). Room decor and furnishings quite dated. Bathroom in particular had seen better days.

Excellent location in heart of China Town. Everything you need for a great stay in Sydney - near Central station, catch the George St tram to Circular Quay, easy walk to Darling Harbour, or just chill in a comfy room without feeling cramped. Staff were always polite and helpful.

Good location in Haymarket with easy access to light rail public transport. Bathroom a bit basic for 4 stars, and the tiny tv was really inadequate, with no access to anything other than free to air.

Didn’t like much, very hard to get to by car, noisy and fire alarm went off at 4am and took to long to get back in my room

The female staff at front desk on check were not that welcoming. My room and floor I was staying on smelt like musty mold - dampness. I rang to let reception know and they just said oh well it hasn’t been raining, I will get the cleaner to look. There was no follow up. This musty mold smell gave me bad asthma all night so I had a very bad sleep. On top of that the bathroom was dirty. Not a fan will not stay there again.

This property was very noisy with light rail going every 10 mins to just after midnight. Was reasonably well situated in Chinatown, close to Darling Harbour, QVBuilding. Light rail stop just outside hotel.

Staff was excellent particularly Mr. Ryan who helped us when we had an issue with other hotel.
He changed and adjusted our revised date to make our stay more enjoyable.

The room was wonderful, beds were very comfortable and facilities were great. Mixed interactions with reception staff. Male at desk was very unhelpful and rude, appeared to be making remarks and giggling at my family.
Smoke alarm started to sound every 20 seconds as though the battery was flat at around 10pm, called reception and was advised that there was no maintenance staff on and to take the alarm down and remove battery.
Option to organise airport transport was helpful. Quite noisy but that comes with a great inner city location.

It was super close to the capital theatre but property was average at best. Tiles in walk area were super dirty, aircon didnt work properly room felt muggy. Staff were very friendly and parking was super close and easy.

Mantra Sydney Central is located centrally amongst the Chinatown/Haymarket district. On weekends it can be noisy after sunset with "buskers" directly outside the hotels lobby along George St but that's life. Overall a comfortable place to stay for a short trip. Wouldn't stay longer than 1 to 2 nights if you want supreme comfort.
