We enjoyed our stay very much. The gentlemen working at the front desk were friendly, courteous, and knowledgable about visiting Venice. The 6:15PM boat ride around Venus was the highlight of the trip.
The boat taxi ride at 6:15AM today to the train station was very convenient and enjoyable.
My only complaint is from our arrival at the trainstation this morning. A gentlemen helped take the bags off the water taxi. He helped wheel two of them to the front of the train station. I gave him a 10 Euro tip but he demanded more. I was intimidated to give him 20 more Euros but then he demanded another 30 Euros for the 2nd bag.
At that point I refused and he walked away.
I originally felt 10 Euros was an excellent tip for wheeling 2 bags about 100 feet. I felt the person was a bully and a con artist, and he took advantage of a traveling family.
Please warn your hotel guests about this situation you arrange taxi service for them to the trainstation

We would have loved a balcony view but all in all the room was absolutely adorable. The front desk were amazing. The breakfast service was amazing too. The location was the best part. We were walking distance to every place we wanted to visit. Water Taxi dropped us off right in front of our hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. 100%

This hotel was a quiet,clean, and convenient starting point for our mini-break in Venice. It’s 3 minutes walk to St. Mark’s square, minutes to Rialto Bridge, and close to everything.

Lovely two day get away to Venice. The hotel was so perfectly situated from St. Mark's Square. Walking through the canals was a dream. Excellent buffet breakfast and tremendous help from the front desk. They even packed us a breakfast to go and booked us a water taxi for an early morning train ride. Everyone we encountered spoke enough English to help which was nice. Very pleasant stay!

Perfectly located. Beautiful room. Huge bathroom. Amazing and helpful staff. The breakfast was great, with the VIP you can go grade and get fresh OJ and fried eggs.

Colombina Hotel is a 4 star hotel. They work to earn it. The feel is a boutique hotel. Close to everything. Breakfast was included, Expedia had a ten euro waiting for us which we use at the bar. Staff all speak English and we’re super nice and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located and accessible via water taxi (even at high tide). The reception staff were EXTREMELY helpful. The complimentary breakfast was fine. My only complaint was that there was no fan in the washroom, so we had to prop the door open to let the humidity escape….a minor annoyance, however.

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel the staff is amazing!! We were leaving on a water taxi at 6:30am and they had a bag full of food and drinks for our departure! My husband and I had a beautiful experience in Venice staying there! 5 out of 5 stars every day!!

This place is amazing. The location, the rooms, the staff and the food are all excellent. The front desk folks are very helpful especially Andrea who went above and beyond to make our experience in Venice nothing short of amazing. Joey was also very kind and was always willing to lend a hand. The breakfast was amazing - there were a lot of choices from fresh pastries, cereals, fruits, cheeses, meats and my favorite smoked salmon too and drinks are also plentiful. The ladies are very friendly and welcoming and was always offering us cappuccino, coffee and always asking if we needed anything. The location is perfect. It’s a great place to stay.

Couldnt gather up enough positive adjectives to describe an amazing experience. The staff inquired for our number of nights and based on that, suggested the most important sites to visit. Additionally, the staff suggested restaurants that steered away from the common and excelled at bringing satisfaction. The room was beautiful with an amazing view. In short, we have been telling our friends about it and we will definitely return

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Outstanding decor, all facilities modern and up-to-date. Staff very helpful in providing any information we asked about, arranging airport transportation, etc. Hotel is a five minute walk fro San Marco Plaza. Many restaurants in the area and hotel staff can make recommendations. Would very happily stay again if visiting Venice.
