Very comfortable hotel with nice pool. It is by the marina a good 20 min walk from town centre and sandy beach . I was travelling by train . Taxis scarce at train station so a 25 min walk to hotel. To secure a return taxi had to be booked the day before.

We stay two nights there rooms smell unpleasanty every time we enter matters was ununcomfortable and roome was too small to move

Our room was next to the parking lot which made it very noisy and hard to sleep.

One of the best Best Westerns that I've stayed at! Nice, clean, well appointed two storey hotel, based around a good sized swimming pool. Decent sized bedrooms with excellent air conditioning (it was 30+ degrees during our stay) and balcony. Good bathroom/shower etc. Parking immediately outside the hotel - payable by the hour or a daily rate of €10 - which is good for this part of France. Very varied selection of quality restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk, alongside the boat marina. The town centre of Saint-Raphael is about 15 - 20 minute walk. All in all a really good hotel, with good facilities, helpful friendly staff and a great location.

The hotel is located beside the marina with excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel pool is fabulous with sunbeds for everyone. You are not allowed to leave towels on the beds so it is easy to find one even during the day. Overall a great place to stay.

Very nice close to the water but not a beach. Used the pool extensively as it was very unusually hot. Only issue was the air conditioning in the room even at the lowest setting generated cool air but the fan circulation was very low. Room was not much cooler than the hallways or front entrance which has the front door and restaurant door opened to the very warm outside.

Stayed for two nights while visiting friends. Breakfast was good, gym facilities good, room first class. Staff very helpful in getting taxis even for my friends who were not staying there. Lovely location in the marina nearby some very nice restaurants.

Ideally situated hotel for visit to St Raphael. Some good restaurants very close by. Only criticism was some of the staff could have been a bit more friendly

We spent one night in Best Western in St Raphael. It is a pleasant but somewhat dated hotel. The dinner and breakfast were good.

We stayed at La Marina for 1 week in early Sept. The hotel is located appox 20 mins walk from the main beaches and 30 mins from the centre of town (a further 15-20 mins takes you into Frejus). There are bars, restaurants and a decent Spar supermarket a couple of mins from the hotel.The gym is larger than usual for a hotel. The pool area was clean and quiet, although the sunbeds were not too comfortable (same style as on the beach, but the beach ones have a nice thick cushion.....although on the beach 2 beds and a parasol cost €35!). The room and bathroom were not large but perfectly adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The aircon was good and the room was quiet at night.Hotel breakfast cost €16 each, but there are several other options for breakfast nearby. We only ate in the restaurant once and it was crowded (we were booked in for 20.00 but then asked to wait in bar for 15 mins) and understaffed and the food was average. To be fair, we ate there due to heavy rain outside so this may have been why it was so full. Service at the bar was also generally slow..Overall, the hotel was very pleasant and a good place to stay if you want to be slightly out of town but right next to sea (marina).

It's best selling point for us was that within less than five minutes stroll there was a lovely little promenade around a Marina lined with an impressive selection of lovely restaurants.Most had daily specials to suit all tastes. Our favourites being the fish and sea food restaurants. Also little breakfast cafes had choices from €3 to €5 which were excellent value .Wonderful fruit stalls and fresh paella,bouillabaisse being bought by locals. Fifteen minute walk to beautiful St. Raphael .Lots more hotels and restaurants but honestly not as good as at the Marina.

My sister and I had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western La Marina at the beginning of Dec 2014. The staff werw pleasant and polite. Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with a partial view of the Marina. We did not eat in the hotel through no fault of theirs and although the buffet was free. There are just too many lovely places to choose to eat, even at this time of year. Enjoyed our stay so much, that we will return in April 2015.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, great room, fab pool. The only negative was the parking which was local authority and needed redoing every 24hours. All in all though super!

On arrival we had to insist on the superior room we had booked and paid for...we were made to feel that we were making a fuss! Lovely location and facilities...then one day no maid service occurred....and attitude was desultory to say the least! Shame the staff let down the hotel!

Comfortable, modern hotel close to good range of restaurants around the marina and short walk into town centre. Staff always very friendly and helpful and food in restaurant is good quality and value, esp lunchtime. This is the fourth time we have stayed there over the past two years and it has been consistently good. Only downside is the lack of free parking during the summer months outside the hotel.

Situated about one mile from "downtown" Saint Raphael, but at a marina with about 20 restaurants along the waterfront. Medium-size hotel with excellent amenities and services.

This hotel is clean, quiet, and adjacent to some charming little restaurants. Nevertheless, the overall experience was unpleasant. For a "standard" accommodation we were given a tiny room, in which we had to crawl over each other to get into or out of bed. It had one bistro-style chair and little else. We were told that all standard rooms were like that, which, we later found out, was not true. Why give us such a room when many other normal ones were available? I don't know, but an organization with such an attitude will not get any more of my business.

This is a wonderful deal for the price; will definately stay here again. Staff worked really hard to make our stay comfortable.
