Property was under Reno’s which was not indicated on booking. Facilities were fairly dirty and inconvenient as a result

Parking was limited. The room had no microwave. Otherwise clean and nice aside from the price which is not specific to the hotel but the area which takes advantage of the popularity of Banff

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. It was easy to find as it was located along Banff Avenue but slightly away from all the hustle and bustle. I do wish they provided at least a bottle of drinking water. Overall, it was a great experience and will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Minutes walk from everything. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Helped us with any questions we had about the area and hikes. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Nothing unique or redeeming about the property. A typical over priced Banff hotel. Front desk individuals were friendly and provided good service.
Biggest detractor in addition to the prices as it was little further of a walk to a downtown Banff

Very large room, with separate bedroom & living area. Friendly & helpful staff. No safe in the room. No dining in the hotel. Washing machines not working. A bit far to walk to downtown. Too many steps to our room, all on the 2nd floor, not the stairs from one floor to the next floor.

The hotel was undergoing a major renovation project, so there was lots of noise and activity throughout the day, but all was quiet during the evening. We missed having a restaurant available for breakfast, buy it wasn’t too far to walk downtown.

Small suites, pricy and sink outside the bathroom kind of weird. They offer a small keurig inside the suite that doesn’t work. But who’s spending time inside a hotel room in Banff?? Still, so pricy

Staff were friendly and resourceful. Room was clean and comfortable. Liked the pool and hot tub. Restaurants were close by ! Parking was available.

Pool was so cold it was unusable. Staff received complaints from many guests and was apathetic. There are better accommodations elsewhere for cheaper. If the pool is the reason you are booking look into The Crimson.

The room was too noisy. We cannot sleep for whole night. The heater, fridge and doors of other room were too noisy. It was not relaxing stay. The price was too high if we compare all above.

Property had all the things we like about a great place to stay. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, great wifi, very comfortable beds. However to our liking the pillows were just a bit too hard. We really liked the fact we could walk downtown for shopping and dining. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay at the High Country Inn again.

Stayed here for a few nights. Got a room with a mountain view. Much better price compared to other hotels in town. The building is a bit old and the decorations are out dated, but comfortable stay. We enjoyed the swimming pool, hot bath and sauna. Most hotels in town don't have sauna. It's on the uptown area so needs a little bit walking to the shopping or restaurants, but we didn't mind it. Parking was underground, which is very convenient. Definitely recommend this place
