I had to leave a day early for thanksgiving and they refused to refund or future credit the cancellation. I won’t be staying there again.

I wish I had a better experience. For being related to RIT I was expecting better. This hotel is good to just use to sleep, nothing much more. Rooms are not modern, but more like living in the early 2000s. There are a lack of outlets next to the beds. I had a room with double beds and needed to plug in my CPAP machine, no plugs between the two beds. Showering was a joke, barely any pressure and the handle to turn the shower on from the bath faucet was half broken. The pool and hot tub were okay, there was a creepy guy just hanging out in the hot tub literally the whole hour we were there, and it’s so small it would have been too awkward to join.

The room was mostly clean. When housekeeping came and went, the room was again, mostly clean. Some stuff still on the floors.
Great location and valet parking is available although you may have to wait about 15mins for the valet.
It is a very busy area, especially on weekends. But many shops available within walking distance

Family member needed to be admitted to Strong Memorial, 3 kids 2 adults and family dog stayed the night. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Bonus was being able to take the kids swimming! We would stay there again

Had to make a last minute trip before surgery since we’re two hours away, this hotel was the cheapest so I was expecting. However I was very impressed! Very clean rooms, hotel, pool. The pool had a lifeguard and a hot tub which were definitely a bonus. Had an issue with my room when I checked in which was quickly taken care of! Will stay again

We picked RIT Inn for its location to our event. We were charged over $200 which the going rate for what you would think is an above average hotel. We were wrong, way wrong. The staff were not friendly at all, it was as if they were being punished and had to be there. The room was outdated and smelled. We were woke up by a water leak above the bed. The staff only came in to look but did not do anything to fix it. We moved the beds to keep them from getting wet and we found that they haven't been moved in a very long time. The dirt, old clothing, old room keys, and dust bunnies you can ride into town on. Due to the water leak we had to leave early, but the staff refused to offer a discount, new room or even a coffee for thr inconvenience. Not a place we will return to.

Heading on a longer road trip and Rochester was a good first stop. RIT was.clean and comfy. Bery cozy place. Convenient to highway.

Lobby was upgraded and looks nice. Room we had and floor was not. Carpet was old and less than desirable to look at. Bed was a full size. Difficult for two adults to sleep comfortably. Beds didn’t sleep well.

We stayed at the RIT Inn when we were moving our student back to RIT. The location was convenient and the room was clean and comfortable. We used the gym and it was clean and well kept.

There are two pools, a hot tub, a sauna, and a bar and a restaurant on the premises. Which means once you get there after a long day of traveling, everything you need is right there - no need to get into a car again.

We stayed in an executive room. The room was very clean and spacious. It is in a convenient location near RIT. Housekeeping service needs to be requested by 12 pm, however we requested it one morning, but housekeeping didn’t come to clean the room that day. They only switched out the towels and they did not make the beds or take out the trash. One of the elevators in the back of the hotel was very wobbly and sounded like it was in need of maintenance, so we used the front elevator instead they seemed safer. I was not happy with the 25% incidental hold placed on my credit card. I was told me that it could take up to five-seven business days after check out for it to be refunded on my credit card, which was very inconvenient.

The location for the stay was desirable. Close to RIT. And if it weren't for very loud inconsiderate neighbors across our room, the stay would have been better. The slamming of doors and obnoxiously loud conversations bolted us right out of our sleep. The beds were comfortable, TV small and the carpet in the room needs deodorizing. I was on a tight budget and for the price and distance, was the best choice.

Definitely not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures on the website make it look a lot better than reality. Carpets were dirty, furniture was dated, television was small. Seemed like there was furniture missing. Ceiling had large water stain and crack. Overall the hotel was quiet and served the purpose. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

Check-in was very smooth. Room had a deodorizer odor, which I had seen in other reviews. Not a lot of parking available when conference going on, except all the way around the back. Better availability after the dinner hours. There was a stain in the carpet in our room. Plenty of restaurant options in the area. I would probably stay here again, if needed, due to the lower price compared to name brand hotels in this area.

Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Room was a little outdated. Bed was comfy. Pools were great and open late. Most places don’t have lifeguards, but they had two on site. Which was perfect. Close to a lot of food options all within a 7-10 min drive. I would go back and recommend it to friends.
