Nobody at front desk upon arrival. Sign on front door said “ out to lunch” so we left to another Motel.

Roaches in room. Pics to proove .dirty towels. Rude night employee. Wanted to argue 8nstead of check 5 guests in. Refrigerator not working.

Front desk did their best when we checked in, but when we checked out i told the gentleman that was there in the morning hey all this is wrong with the room Stairs to get to room you have to go over broken stair case, light fixture fell of during night, main door does not close right, exhaust fan was hanging, bathtub dips and caulking is gaped, towels are stale, and all he said was wow I'll mark it down and put on list to fix 😮 Realize we just needed a place to sleep after graduation for my son at University of Merced but dammm...

Bugs in the room, phone wasn’t even working and broken. Found hairs on/in the beds that were suppose to be clean. Curtains were broken, loud neighbors that were living in the hotel. Made me very uncomfortable for being there with my children.

Huge comfortable room. Very quiet. Just wish I could’ve connected to the Wi-Fi, I had some homework that needed to be done.

Bad experience there the hotel so not clean, we slept there first night woke up with cockroaches in the bed. Management so poor there never again staying in motel 6 ever again.

The room is old and has roaches. Homeless people everywhere. Towels were Stained. Will not stay there again.

Could be cleaner around the area

Hotel is not up to standards in the current condition. The hotel is pretty old and worn but they have tried to updated it in an cheap way. This is more than likely the worst hotel stay i've ever had. The staff was semi-helpful and semi-friendly. The staff knows about many of the issues but cannot change anything so some responses come off as unempathetic. There was no working wifi, the first room i was given had a roach in it. The second room didnt have a phone or fridge. Also some of their locks need to use double keys to get into the room. My second room had broken locks for the bathroom and the main door had a gap which allowed cold air to get in. I dont believe I will get my security deposit back without having to call corporate, but will wait and see what happens after about a week.

Everyone was really nice and helpful. The attitude was amazing, feels nice to come from a long trip to a cozy and sweet environment. The area felt safe and homey. Clean and smelled great! Staff where great.

We came back hoping to have a nice stay, as we had at the same hotel previously. We had checked out that very morning. We expected to be in another city staying in our RV, but at the last moment, those plans were invalidated by another party refusing us hookups. We made a new reservation for the same Motel 6 we had just left earlier. The only difference was that we now had our RV with us which needed additional maintenance. The REAL FUN began when we arrived for check-in. The nice office person we had dealt with all that previous week was "unavailable". There was a male and a female there, instead. To help identify him, I shall give the apparent ringleader for the night, a nickname. He is Mr "Nose-gay" for obvious reasons should you ever be unfortunate enough to be assisted by him at the office. There were implications made several times by Mr "Nose-gay", which I considered offensive, but tried to ignore. He and his female co-worker also tried to imply card fraud and non-payment. However, my bank already recorded a debit of $243.04 against my account for the reservation. They just kept digging themselves deeper, and we left after requesting our money refunded. They claimed to have already processed a refund. I called Hotels.com, to confirm and their support tells me that they called about the refund, and Mr "Nose-gay" and staff did not answer. We found other suitable lodging and AM SPECIFICALLY DISCOURAGING ANYBODY FROM BOOKING A STAY AT THIS HOTEL, EVER!!!!!

Best motel in town. Staff were friendly. Room had a lot of space. It was nice and quiet.

They had no shampoo soap trash cans and the pillows were not even pillows they were a hole bunch of sheets inside the pillow case. The bathroom door didn’t even work because it was broken and there was no iron or hair dryer. I was supposed to check out in Sunday ended up doing it Saturday morning. Never in my life will I stay there. Last time I was there was about 2 years ago or so maybe more but it was good. When I checked out and told the lady all this she said oh yea we don’t provide none of this because we change owners. At the end of the day it is making the the corporation of motel 6 look bad.

It was the cheapest motel in Merced. The room cleaners are very lazy. We asked them to clean the room while we were away taking care of business. When we got back to the room later that night the room was still dirty. The Room didn't have any refrigerator. There's no ice machine.

Totally average. Beds did appear clean. Barking dogs in multiple rooms never stopped.

No fridge no microwave couldnt sign in to the wifi and nothing on the tv worth watching..but still we were thankful to have a place to stay. The housekeeping ladys were nice .

Staff is rude and swindled me for $50 on a $150 deposit when they originally quoted $100, they charged me $35 late fee for being 30 min late due to rebooking issues and refused to waive the fee even after paying them for a weeks stay. Every miserable person who works here has a miserable rude condescending attitude and what seems to be a permanent stink face. I don’t get it, like how are you going to be rude and mean and condescending to your guests,to your paying customers ,to people who contribute to your bread and butter ,your paycheck . the paycheck you use to cloth your back, to put a roof over your head ,and food in your stomach. I really don’t get it ,shake my head this place really has a “BUFU” type of attitude. BEWARE!!

My room was filthy with dust/hair/debris. There’s stains on every wall and there are cleaner bathrooms/showers in the prisons.
