Very clean and nice sized room.

After my trip to Palo Alto I needed a hotel convenient to SFO for a 6:15 flight back. The hotel is near a street (San Mateo) filled with restaurants or Wendy's across the street. The bus to the airport arrives at 4:10, I was picked up, dropped off, thru security and at the gate by 4:40.

Check-in was quick and simple. The room was large, spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was excellent with a nice hot shower. There is a nightlight near the bathroom. Excellent idea! A very pleasant stay.

Easy parking. Comfortable and clean. Stayed here because they are close to the airport and have a free shuttle. Perfect for that.

The gentle which his name I can’t remember, was rude…to me anyway. I got there early he did not greet me. I ask can I store my luggage he said, yes and gestured/pointed in the direction I’m to go. There was no system anyone could walk in and take your luggage alone with there’s. I needed to wash. The detergent machine was not working, the cost though was $1.25. I was charged $2.50 for one box at the front desk. I was forced to get the app to purchase the uses of the machines, $10 was the least to purchase. I have a loss of $3.50, which I would like a refund. The same rude guy at the front desk questioned why I wanted a receipt for the box of detergent. In checking out I went to call the front desk to let them know I was changing the time for the shuttle and lo and behold there was no cord on the phone.

The Hotel looked old but clean when we arrived. We were very early as many others were as well because of leaving the cruise ship. The friendly manager let us into our rooms over 2 hours early. Which was very nice. The rooms were very nice and clean. The sitting rooms were beautiful. Wonderful hotel. We would come again.

It was a comfortable stay. And we appreciate the free airport transfers.

Needed a place to stay before a flight at SFO. Hotel Aluxor was a delightful surprise! Our room was newly updated and beautifully decorated. Very spacious and comfortable with a lounge area outside the rooms. All of this, while being extremely affordable.

I would not stay here again. The pictures are deceiving on the web site. Place is falling apart. One staff person at front desk and he could care less if there was no ice in the entire hotel. No security whatsoever. Thank goodness we were only there one night

The lobby was a bit small and looked a little dingy. The small single elevator seemed to follow the lobby theme. Then we got to our floor and our room. It was clean and quite nice. The convenience to the airport was a BIG seller.

We needed to be close to the airport. This is a budget hotel but very clean and quiet and surprisingly modern. Fridge and microwave were a plus.

1st time staying here but it won't be the last.

The hotel has a lovely face-lift, but comfort was lacking. There are very nice hardwood floors and room amenities. Personally, the bed was too firm and pillows were lumpy. Also, the shower didn’t appear to be cleaned. There was a leftover bar of soap with hair stuck to it and other hairs in the shower. My husband and I just spent one night there and really just needed a bed and bathroom, nothing fancy. This is just that. The hotel itself has two beautiful atriums letting in tons of light with updated furniture for sitting.

The only problem so far is the towels, because I come frequently and they are getting dirty and they don't look adequate. And the price has also gone up quite a bit.

It was only one night, but it was fine.

A perfect hotel experience when needing to get to the airport

It was comfy...room was big...had a fridge and microwave which is nice... staff helpful and friendly! Would stay again if we were in the area.

Very close to the airport. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. It's fully renovated and I definitely recommend this place.

The hotel was nicer than expected. Great stay with good price for a hotel close to the airport. Only issue was ice machine. It worked but had what looked like paint peelings from inside of ice machine in my ice bucket.

I liked the channels on the TV that aired movies rather than just regular channels. The big issue was that there were ANTS in our room and there was no hand soap. Also, a website specified that they had continental breakfast, but it turned out they did not. I would not choose this property to stay in if I came back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The closet door was broken and a outlet cover was coming off. Room was extremely clean.

the room was actually great. only issue was the sink water for my room ran very low. overall my stay was great. the staff was also very friendly & accommodating. thank you for a comfortable stay

Clean, quiet, and comfortable

Needed to crash for a few hours after overseas flight. Hotel is much nicer inside than outside, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Not necessarily a place to stay for a vacation, but for a night or two it’s perfect.
