Overall, our stay was pretty good - most of the staff are friendly and the room was clean and everything you'd expect from a hotel room. Arriving at the hotel, it doesn't have the clearest sign - it looks like the hotel is called Hotel Antofagasta although on closer inspection there is a squiggly P afterwards. Maybe this justifies the reaction of the doorman when asking if we were in the right place (in Spanish) as maybe he thought it was a silly question, but I think just pointing at the doormat (which does have the name as you'd expect to see it) whilst frowning as his response is a bit rude. The free welcome drink at their bar is a nice touch and the room was clean. I slept quite well - the beds were quite comfy, although if you do book a 'City View' room, bear in mind that the windows don't block out the sound at all, and it's right next to the main road through the city, which also includes a small train track.

Was very pleased with my stay. Good location and good value. WiFi was a bit subpar.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast and the best location n a beach, close to the plaza and mall shopping.

Great people here. Very friendly and the view from the ocean side is awesome.

Really like this hotel. Great place to relax. Best breakfast I have fond in Chile. Only thing I didn't like was the second floor rooms on the city side. There is a common roof just outside the huge window. Anyone could step out there window and walk over to yours, step right in if your window isn't open. Therefore nobody opens their windows and these rooms smell like an old tennis shoe. Lovely pool and restaurant balcony. Probably my favorite hotel in Antofagasta. Parking is VERY convenient and they have an attendant 24 hrs.

Very bad experience. The hotel is very old and expensive. My room was on a second floor, very dark with no light on the ceiling, only lamps. The lobby said it had a city view, but there was no city view, instead a bunch of old air condition units abandoned on the roof of the 1st floor which was the view of the room. I would definelty not come back, actually I had 2 extra nights but I cancelled them and moved to Terrado hotel for the same price.

On vacation after a week of work. Near center of town and the old town attractions. Liked the view from the balcony; enjoyed the outdoor pool. Wasn't very busy so it was quiet. Breakfast (included in room tariff)was spectacular; dinner was well above average.

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Food was great but a little pricey. my only criticism is that we had to have a taxi for 3am for a flight and we asked for a taxi to be booked twice the previous eve and when we checked out no taxi was booked and we have to call a taxi at the las minute. Thankfully made it to the airport for our flight.

At check-in, the young guy at the front desk was very rude and a smart alec. Floor/ carpet was stained. Looked out my window expecting to see the water and saw a roof of the shed that is hooked to the hotel. Wireless internet was terrible and couldn't work from my room They were not very accomadating to our needs. There was another guy that checked in after me with the same problem and they were rude to him as well.
