Good place to stay with family in center of cologne.

Really helpful and professional reception staff. They gave us adjoining rooms as requested and came up to unlock the door between them.

Great location, you can go to the main attraction walking or take the bus, your choice. Dinner was not the best and overpriced, better to go out and enjoy a better meal same price.

The reception was not helpful, we drove far away to the hotel and found the car park was no space. I asked the reception what should we do and he told me to find another car park by ourselves or wait at the car park! Finally we waited for 1 hour and not yet started our dinner. Also, the reception didn’t tell me the check out time, when I asked him and he was unwilling to tell. We stayed for 2 nights and asked for room cleaning in the second day morning. After we backed to the room, only the beds were tidy up, the toilet didn’t clean, and lack of facial paper. When I went down to ask for it, the reception said he don’t know English! Last but not least, when we left the car park, the bar code didn’t work! We need to go up and down to change the bar code, finally the bar code still not worked and we needed to ring the bell. What are bad experiences 😔😔😔

Excellent place, affordable parking and clean room

Novotel is excelent in every way - rooms, kind staff and delicious breakfast. One thing that could be improved is that guest should not pay for parking.

Great hotel for families. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

The hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel is convenient to get to train station, church, chocolate factory etc. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The breakfast is 24€ for an adult but they didn’t charge for the kids. I’m not sure what age the cut off is, but ours are 7. It is a fantastic breakfast though with everything you can think of. We’ve stayed here on multiple occasions and would stay again!

Check-in was sad. There were no twin rooms, as i got in confirmation, but got upgraded to double room. Receptionist had no idea if we paid or not, i had to go and find it emails. city tax paper was given in German, even i find out on checkout there is one in English.

Uncomfortable beds, rude check in staff.

Everything was ok except the AC was not working, or rather barely. I should have told them right away but did not. The location is quite good close to shops, restaurants, laundry and so much more. The river is right across. Everything else was fine!

I have to appreciate the reception team of Novotel who let us checkin early on our date of arrival. They were very responsive to our requests and the stay was very memorable.

Really good Hotel with good options for breakfast

Front desk personnel was great to help us understand what we can do in downtown Koln. Parking for the property was convenient. Beds were comfortable and spacious.

The staff from the moment we checked in were outstanding!

Tolles Hotel

We had a great experience at the hotel. We were greated by friendly staff as soon as we got there. The hotel is very clean, kid friendly and has up to date technology. There are many restaurants around the area, the Koln cathedral is about a 23 min walk from the hotel. We absolutely recommend hotel for people travesith kids.

I liked this hotel. It's a little bit far from the old town, maybe 1.5kms but still convenient. Hotel is lovely and clean and the service was great. Easy to get to by taxi or Uber. Hotel feels safe. There was a terror alert in the city on NY so being a little further away was quite comforting. Breakfast was also very good.

Lovely hotel, outstanding breakfast selection. Bedrooms modern and clean, although we found the rooms very warm even in January. Road noise when window open and air con not much good.
