Poor maintenance. Laundry thrown to the grounds. Tv didn’t work. Breakfast not great. Fake eggs etc

The ramada merritt is in need of serious renovations . The pictures they use are probably from not long after they opened to advertise on websites. Sheets had paint stains ,floors were dirty,they advertise AC but have it locked out so still not cool at night.I paid 4 star prive in rural meritt and got 2 star quality.Staff were pleaseant and breakfast was satisfactory.

It was a convenient place to stay in. Breakfast was decent, and beds comfortable.

This property is more sketchy motel than Ramada Hotel. Staff are friendly but rooms are outdated, musty Smelling and bathroom shows signs of mold around caulking and the tile grout could use a cleaning. The bedding however was clean and comfy. The AC was not adept to handle the heat and humidity of outside.

Booked on Expedia and had to add the fee for travelling with pets, no only did the room rate go up 13-15 dollars a night but they added on the $30 pet fee(15$ per). I asked about it with both front desk people who were manger type roles and was told they can't match the Expedia price. Stayed for 5 nights and it was $150 in pet fees and $70 extra as the rate changed on the room to add the pet fee. The room seemed like it was neglected but it was a pet friendly room so not sure that played on it. The pool and hot tub were both very dirty there were rail banisters missing from the water slide stairs, Black mould in the bathroom and change room area. Only went 1 night because it was so gross. The breakfast room was alway missing items when I arrived for breakfast. It didn't seem like they had a worker clearing or wiping tables. For the first three nights I had to ask for extra towels because they were only leaving 2 and we had 4 registered guest. Was a very disappointing stay but travelling with pets very limited options should have looked for an another place after the 1st night .

Appreciated the 2 bedroom room. Great for a family of 5. Pool and water slide were nice.

Reception was open till late.

The room was okay, staff was friendly and helpful, but the property is very run down, pool is old and feels very dirty, the water slide was turned on in half hour increments so had to get lucky when you were in there. There was also caution tape up everywhere around the slide, not sure why. The continental breakfast was inedible, and we were the first ones eating just after it was made. Seemed like it was made the night before and was barely warmed in the morning. Overall, would not stay again.

The beds were not comfortable, the swimming area had tiles falling off the wall and it looked like dirt coming in. Above one of the entrances to the pool, the ceiling was falling down. It looked as if no one seemed to care about the place. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was gross, eggs out of a carton, sausages were terrible and there was no waffle maker as advertised in the pictures online. Won't be staying here again.

Just happy to get a room

The pool area was huge and the slide was fun. The water was warm which was nice the kids and adults. The room had 3 beds which was nice for our big family so we could all stay together.

Was an average room

Quiet. Good value for the money.

Room 217 was not clean garbage behind night tables chips behind one chocolate and wrapping behind other.

Property needs maintenence. Rooms are functional (loved the 3 beds for travelling with teens). Beds are comfortable. I'm glad we had our own bedding and pillows. It would have been nice if the fridge had been working.

Good location

We arrived at 1am, so exhausted and just went to bed. Beds were comfortable. Got up in the morning to go fet coffee in the breakfast room. The hotel grounds were horrible, garbage everywhere. The gardens were all overtaken by weeds. Overall nothing looked like anyone cared about the property

Exterior areas dirty, scruffy, gardens etc full of garbage and weeds. Pool area in very bad condition. Certainly won't stay there again

Was a quick stop on your journey home. Staff was super nice and friendly. Rooms were good, beds comfortable. Hotel needs some maintenance in a few spots. Pool definately needs a cleaning. Would stay again if in the area.

Old property & room was shaking throughout the night...some sort of vibration due to machinenry or something ..not sure , stale fruits and limited breakfast options

Property is so run down and repulsive. Worst stop of our whole trip. Would not recommend to anyone. The pool looks like a dogs bath and smells even worse. Just overall a waste of time and money.

The place is very run down and the cleanliness was not good. The pool was awful. The only bright star was the girl at the front desk when we checked in - she was awesome!

Really excited for the pool and water slide to find it in gross condition and not really looked after, we swam for a short time and all ended up really itchy and having to have multiple showers

The piece was too expensive and the end sheets were dirty . I emailed the hotel but no reply yet . It’s not the worth for the price

The room smelled bad. The pillow cases weren’t on the pillows when we got to the room and the pillows were basically just bricks. Everything in the room looked old and run down - the hair dryer looked like it had caught on fire. The pool looked like something out of a horror movie - the walls of the pool were stained, the floors were black and dirty looking, there were tiles falling off the walls and it looked like there could be mold.

Lovely people, but lacking an elevator and no ground floor available presented challenges. A little old and in need of updates.

The room was a bit dated, but very clean. The breakfast was super convenient and yummy. And the kids loved the water slide so much.
