Nice place for working people preparing to go offshore.

Was worried about it but it was really a great stay. Was not wanting to spend a lot of money as we were not going on the room much and we would be busy. It was a really nice stay and I would do it again either way as a visitor for pleasure or work.

This hotel is an older but recently renovated place. The restaurant food is fantastic! I was alone and would be heading to my 45th HS Reunion. I was put in a room towards the back of the hotel. Next door was a group of men partying already at 4:00pm. I didn’t feel safe & called to be moved to a room that I would feel safe returning to after midnight. Once in that room, I felt safe right away & it was much quieter.

Check in was great. Friendly people. The room.. wasn't awful. Issues were the smell, and noise. Whole room smelled like stale cigarettes which I can only assume was due to the neighbors on each side smoking literally right outside the door. Each of them had their TVs absurdly loud which bled through the walls quite easily. Just was not a pleasant experience.

So the stay was okay except for the fact that 8:30 in the morning they started banging on people's doors calling out housekeeping and making it impossible to even sleep past 9:00

We have stayed at Plantation Inn several times when in town visiting family. The staff is always friendly and available if needed. Never had a problem with checking in or checking out. It is an older hotel but appears to have received some renovations since we were there last. Overall, it’s clean, decent and has friendly/helpful staff. We plan to stay there anytime we are in Houma.

The room was very clean front desk clerk was nice. The only problem I had was that I made it 30 mins before check in time which is 3pm and could not check in still I understand politics. I work at a hotel as well and I’m A manager it would be nice to allow your guest to check in if you have a room available then I wasn’t a walk in I had a paid reservation I travelled 2 1/2 hours after work to the hotel I was tired. I allow guest to check in early and when my house keepers clean I keep out with the rooms as they go to put them in the system so rooms will be clean before some arrivals make it if they make it before 3 a 3 o’clock check in and a 12 check out is not your money worth but I do understand polices. And I also check my arrivals first thing in the am to see what type of rooms are needed or the arrivals but overall stay was good just that lil small issues I had but will stay again just not traveling straight after I get off due to no early check ins even if a room is ready

I stay here often and everything and everyone are always a pleasure. This stay on the other hand was one for the records. Being cursed out in bed while still half asleep by the housekeeper and then by her supervisor with only knowledge from her employee of what she just did. Both extremely unpleasent and unprofessional. Hopefully before they run off more guest from this otherwise great location they take some etiquette classes or at the very least a customer service class. Needless to say besides that incident it was a decent stay.

Very nice lobby, comfy mattress. Was noisy outside but hey, it was Mardi Gras! All good!

The toliet was broken to flush…Also the other renters was loud outside til 2-3 in morning

Overall it was nice as always minus the heater unit took forever to heat the room.
