The location is in the center of town, so restaurants and shopping centers were close by.

The housekeepers knock on the door loudly at 9am although checkout is at 12noon!! It was very frustrating after a long drive into town.

Easy to find. Price was lower than most in the area.

The shower was convenient for being 7 months pregnant, though there was only a soap bar shelf and one hand rail at the back of the shower it was a bit dangerous.

I requested.for a downstairs non smoking room, when I checked in,.the woman said "because.youre booking for 3 nights all we have is upstairs smoking rooms"... I was.already taken advantage of.out of $300 from Microtel the same night because while booking,.my stay dates were unavailable and changed to 2 .months later and I was not made aware until AFTER check out. Upon entering room, appeared great, entered restroom, no handsoap or any body wash or hair wash, no coffee packs, the room was not ready for stayers, it seemed. We stayed anyways, had our own body wash, didn't complain about that or the fact of no coffee. There was a spot on the floor that felt "soft". Right before entering into the restroom. While showering, the toilet began bubbling and the hand sink filled half way up with water from the drain, with what looked like mud and smelled like sewer, then as it took over 30 minutes to drain out, it leaked from underneath the counter. The AC button would not press to change the fan speed setting to high, so it was stuck on Low for the 3 days and did not keep the room comfortably cool. The toilet was loose, so when I sat on the toilet, it made a "rocking move" to connect to the ground. House keeping/room service came at 8am each morning, and even if we were sleeping or in the shower they would open the door! If we didn't answer them because we were asleep or showering. There were NO Do not disturb door hangers or anything of that matter. Even after asking for a no smoking room on my Booking we were still put in a smoking room, it wasn't bad, but when the people next to us smoked, it filled our room with the nasty smell,.and I am 7.months pregnant. Our stay was very uncomfortable and disgusting if I must say. I've been to some "hole in the wall" hotels, and this by far, for being a "nicer" hotel, was disgusting compared to some of the places I've been.

The staff was wonderful; polite, helpful and friendly.

There is a lot of noise from the outside. They are still remodeling; which is understandable but a problem when you’re trying to rest.
