Apartment was good size in great location, comfortable enough.. but felt could be cleaner, attention on the skirting boards needed.

Cant thank Nikki, Elaine and the tram enough for helping with our stay / experience. We we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary and had stayed at The Spires when we got married (andy many time thereafter).
The ladies / team were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extra special.

The apartment always delivers!! Prefer our own space etc rather than a hotel and The Spires has everything you could want in a location that provides easy access to tourist activities / shopping / entertainment whatever you need

We arrived at 14:00 hrs but as I didn't read the literature sufficiently, wewaited until 15:00 hrs before realising that we needed to go upstairs to the reception area.
Anyway, our room was ready. Located on the 6th floor our first impression was how spacious and well presented the room was. Bedroom had en-suite and small balcony albeit this looked out onto the backs of other buildings. The sitting room was ideal, spacious and well appointed. Everything seemed just right.
The apartments are located very centrally in the Merchant City area.
Parking can utilised within the NCP just across the road and is well discounted, my tip would be to use the app.
Overall an excellent stay, would definitely return again.

We really enjoyed the apartment. Very large and clean. We liked the large kitchen and the en suite bathroom. Considering the high prices in Scotland, this was a very good choice price wise. Well located, downtown and walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and attractions. One must forgive a little bit the environment since it is next door to a homeless shelter and can be a little bit noisy. We would highly recommend it

The facilities themselves were more than satisfactory and accommodated their needs with having a washer. No dryer available. The outside area was a bit dicey with a homeless shelter right next door and a Late night bar.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Glasgow. Good location. Very spacious apartment. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.

The stay was good however check- in wasn't available till 3pm and check out the following day at 10am for almost £400 seems excessive. that is only 19 hours for that cost !

The property was super clean and all in good condition. Nevertheless, the support from the staff made a great addition to make our stay the best. I would recommend it to anyone and I am looking for my next stay at The Spires.

Great place to cook, do laundry and probably host a get together. Not super loud but noisy at night. Comfy beds. Plug in bath tub didn't work.

We enjoyed our stay. A good sized apartment. Some parts in need of repair if you look closely, but was very clean. The only real downside with the interior was the size of the bed. A small queen sized.
General location of apartment was great for seeing city centre and nightlife. Only real concern was the door to the apartment being located next to a homeless kitchen. Both nights when we went out for drinks we walked past 20 or 30 queuing up on the pavement, one night there was an altercation between two of them which was quite worrying.

Our family of 5 loved this apartment! It had plenty of space for us, was clean, in a safe area, and was walkable to just about everything. The people who worked here were so friendly! We will definitely stay here again if we return to Glasgow!

This place is centrally located. If you are looking to party, this is the place to stay. If you have kids, this is not the place to stay. The apartment was spacious and clean. Accommodations were good. The problem wasn’t with the apartment but what was around it. The bars across the street and a few doors down were loudly operating with music and a loud MC until 4a on Sunday morning. The homeless services are also a few doors down so there were some very needy folks outside. We definitely felt safe but it is loud and not a peaceful location. But if you are coming to enjoy nightlife and have fun, this is a great place.

Plenty of space, good location bathroom as well as ensuite showers, sufficient towels , but no body lotion included in toiletries.
Would have liked basics for cooking; oil salt pepper and more tea. Coffee and milk sufficient for 2 days.
Extractor fan did not seem to be working.

Very clean & felt like a safe part of town. Close enough to main bus station, which was a must for our group (79-yo dad). Front office staff was AMAZING - Dee was so nice and welcoming and even called our airline to try to help when it lost our golf clubs!
When back in Glasgow, I can’t see why we wouldn’t stay at Spires again.

The apartment was great! It was very clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic! They made check-in very easy for us.
Beware! The area around the apartment is rough. Lots of disruptions and loud parties all through the night. Didnt feel safe going out at night. Not an area for families with young kids. We had 3 adultish children and it was still rough.

Apartment was very clean, separate living/kitchen area. Very central location and all facilities were great. Would certainly stay again.

Parking at the NCP is good: about 8 form 4pm to 11am next day. . Check in is easy if you park on the double yellow lines outside for a bit. The room's water tank boiler (hot water for bathrooms and sink and radiators/central eehatring) kept losing its pressure and had to be restored with teh two blue valves. The security chain on the room door had no fob on its end and was therefore useless. The en-sutie shower had its own water heater which ran from very hot to very cold (and back) all the time: dangerous IMHO. Only one dishwasher tablet!!! The wfi and tv good. The lift was good. The area is busy at night as there is a centre/shelter for homeless. Noisey on Friday/saturday. Security isnt great as people could tail-gate residentes to get in at the front door and then easily get up in the lifts. Hence the need for a chain on the door in addition to the locking bolt.

Apartment was a great size, clean rooms, with dishwasher, kettle, toaster oven and a washer dryer. We were going to the O2 Academy and this was smack bang in the middle between the bus station and venue, so was perfect. Lots of wee stores - Spar, Tesco, Sainsbury's around - as well as cafes, pubs etc Manager was a pleasant and helpful lass as well.
Would not hesitate to use again and recommend to others.

The apartment was spacious and clean, we stayed for one night and it was perfect. The reception staff had excellent communication and were super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting about in central Glasgow and only a short walk from the Queen Street and Central Stations. We would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely place to stay i didnt want to leave ... full apartment well equip ... only problem was i didnt know how to control heating but wasnt a big deal .... would recomemd a stay here without a doubt .

I love staying in this property. The staff were so friendly, helpful and gave us excellent recommendations. The apartment was incredibly spacious and the central location meant we could walk to where we needed to go. I would stay here again.

The apartments are fully equipped with everything you need or could need!! It was a perfect location for us for our Christmas concert, a little shopping and a little excellent food and drink!! Although we are Glasgow residents the apartments give you all the home comforts you need without the taxi home
One small suggestion….. a TV in the bedroom!! We really missed this!!

Great location, helpful staff, room safe was missing and couple of cleaning issues, eg wrappers, paper under sofa and a few cobwebs above units, dusty vents, light fittings but on the whole ok. Would use again as great location, easy walking distance from train station, minutes from city centre and bars and restaurants.

The management, coordination and stay in general was excellent, we really enjoyed it.
A couple of points were not perfect: the mattresses were absolutely rock hard (to our preferences only), the tv didn’t work, but that was only to keep our daughter temporarily engaged and the lighting in the bathrooms were not conducive to make up application.
Overall, we were delighted though!
