Very simple, ocean view is very limited, but clean, was quite at night time, no pool/restaurant, good for 1 night.

The hotel is beautiful, in a gorgeous location. Gareth helped us check in, and I believe he was one of the most helpful and kind people in the hotel industry that I've ever met! The room location and the balcony were wonderful, showing a nice view of the ocean. The access to the beach was exactly what we wanted. The lobby was clean and attractive. However, our room was not clean. The beds were clean, but the floor had dust and spills that hadn't been wiped properly. Though the bathroom was clean, the mirrors throughout the bathroom and room were either streaked or smudged. I know that being right off a beach might be challenging to keep clean though. All in all, I would stay here again for the view and location and front staff.

The hotel itself was old ! Thank goodness the room was renovated The front desk women was miserable. Several times we were there at the desk she was so grouchy

No frills, but this hotel has everything we needed! Very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Our rooms opened to the large terrace (instead of a balcony). Only downside to this hotel is that there is no pool or hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice we had a great time and overall everything was good not to be nit picking but there are no USB INPUTS anywhere in the room so charging phone etc. Was very inconvenient. Also there was a table in the room but only one chair

A three-night, late-summer stay. We arrived early to hit the beach and the hotel provided parking and expedited an earlier check-in to our room. There is no dining facility in the hotel but many options are within walking distance along the boardwalk which runs in front of the hotel.

Pros - right on the beach/boardwalk Cons - parking is extremely limited, no pool, no amenities like other hotels, no daily housekeeping, limited ocean view

The location at the end of the boardwalk is perfect.

We had an oceanfront room which was great. The only thing we did not like was that checkout was at 11:00 am , but the housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9:00 am then waited in the hallway outside our room until we left. Don’t like being rushed out!! For this reason we would reconsider going there again.

I loved being on the second floor with the concrete park that overlooked the ocean right outside the rooms. It was my favorite part. The room was spacious and clean, the beach was right there, the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Great location next to the broadwalk. Plenty of restaurants closeby. The room was clean and neat with gorgeous beach view.

Loved the hotel location. Staff unfriendly which is a shame , and there is no pool. It's only available for the condo not hotel. Plus there are homeless people around the clock at the back of hotel that faces beach- which made me uncomfortable for the kids.

The location is at the quieter end of the boardwalk which is nice not having all the foot traffic and the beach is less crowded. The room was average and would have been better if at least two wing comfortable chairs were available instead of having to sit on the bed. The mini refrigerator is convenient along with the microwave but small prep area would be nice also. The room did not have wash cloths when arrived. The top bed cover had a small stain on it which looked like dried blood. The sliding screen door did not track properly. Parking is very tight and there is no place to store bicycles but was told most people keep them in their rooms. This hotel could have greater potential with a few minor updates and changes.

Oh so great to be on the waterfront in September. Beautiful weather and smaller crowds. Easily walk into restaurants, finding parking and some bargains. Christine at the front desk and the cleaning team made switching rooms easy. Also early check-in. Thank you so much!

Great spot right on the beach. Quiet and I felt safe walking back alone from the boardwalk and shopping area after dark. I do wish the beds were more comfortable though.

Beachside properties can get shabby quickly. But the Henlopen was clean, updated, and well maintained. The location can't be beat - best in Rehoboth! Easy access to beach, boardwalk, and the amenities of the town. Easy parking. Basic amenities, but everything you need.

The room was nice and the partial view of the ocean was perfect. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The garage parking was a pleasant surprise. Easy walk to the beach.

Liked that all rooms had at least a partial view of the ocean and we really enjoyed the direct access to the boardwalk with everything we needed or wanted within a short walk. Beach was lovely. Parking was a bit tight, but worked with that.

We review the hotel late and the reservation did not give us the room the front of the ocean
