What a beautiful and very very clean resort!!!

My wife and I vacationed at Grand Isle Resort
and Residences in August of 2024. The
one-bedroom villa was nicely appointed and
was roomy. The full kitchen included all the the
utensils and tools needed to cook meals. There
were large windows in the living room and
bedrooms that allowed plentiful natural light.
The bedroom was large and the bed was really
comfortable. The bathroom was large as well
with a large jetted tub, double vanity and a tile
and glass shower. There was ample closet
space and a washer and dryer. The on-site
restaurant (Palapa) had good food and the
service was good as wel. The beach was really
nice with white sand and turquoise/blue water.
We enjoyed our 5 night stay and would return if
we were to visit Exuma again.

Probably the most beautiful Resort on Exuma.
Our interior-design Villa was a perfect interpretation of royal/colonial caribbean style.
The 23th North Restaurant was very good with a very friendly staff (others staff was not so friendly..).
Very good stay with all the comfort. I suggest it.

Truly blown away by how fantastic this place is for couples and families. All villas, not hotel. Excellent finishes on the villas: marble, wood, high end all the way. The two pools are both great, either for families or singles. The beach is white sand and the water turquoise. We ate at 23 North and Palapa. Great service, well done and ample food. This really is five star and I am a tough grader.

Although we encountered an issue during check in, Ceyon, who is one of the front desk staff was extremely courteous and did his best to assist us. The acting front desk manager, Alicia, was not helpful and made us feel as though we weren’t justified with our issues or that whatever she offered was enough to pacify the issue with the hotel room that we encountered. We ended up seeing the property manager, Mr. Joe, who was very apologetic and saw to it that we enjoyed our stay.

For the price we payed i didnt expect dining in the house full of flies during both nights and the shower in the master bathroom was broker.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. The staff is so nice, they try everything possible to accommodate all of your needs. The island is impeccable and so beautiful. I can’t wait to return

The property itself is really nice. The issue is with the lack of restaurants and the times they are open. If I were to come again I would definitely rent a car to be able to get offsite. It is somewhat remote from everything else and any taxi you take seems to be $40-$50. The units do have kitchens so I would plan to bring food or hot one of the local stores. I booked 7 days and we left early after 5 days. Beautiful location and beach, not much to offer beyond that.

An Ocean view room on Expedia is not the equivalent of that at the resort! I booked an entire vacation on Expedia, choosing an ocean view room, and we had a view of a marina and no ocean.

Quite an American feel complex for a small Bahamian island. Wasn’t expecting quite so many units. Feels quite Floridian.
Unless you have an Ocean Front you really won’t get much of a sea view more the property facing you!
Palapa grill was pretty disappointing for breakfast and dinner but the 23 North restaurant was well worth the money and we ate there twice.

Great job with the design of 23North, the pool and lounge areas are perfect. The grounds are well maintained, our room was massive and immaculate. The only drawback was the service. It was below average in all of our experiences. Room phones didn't work. Got breakfast to go, got back to the room, no syrup for pancakes, no sugar for coffee. Sandy Toes didn't even open on the days they were supposed to.

Grand Isle was beautiful resort. The property was well maintained and the room was clean. But We were not happy. First ,we booked one bed room ocean view villa. It was ocean view but back side of the ocean view with the marina. I was assuming the front side of Emerald bay view for one bed room ocean view room. Very misleading. Second, the king bed was old and very uncomfortable to sleep. Hampton inns have better beds. Third, the shower pressure was so week. For over $1,000 a night, it’s not worth to stay.

WOW! What an amazing vacation experience that well exceeded our expectations! The trip started out wonderful as we were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 floor suite with a water view. Everyone at the resort was so nice and friendly. The food was also really good! Breakfast and lunch at Palapa was great. Dinner at 23 North was so good we ended up eating there for 3 nights! The beach was really lovely and the water was so serene. I have to say that this was a truly unforgettable vacation. We loved the property and the grounds were beautiful. The golf course was also really beautiful. Thank you for such a welcoming stay. We really enjoyed our time in Exuma. We are so grateful and blessed! We will be back! xoxo :-)

We liked the spacious beach and the "Adults only" pool. Too bad the peace was a bit disturbed by noisy Bachelorettes and Girls' Trip groups.
The one-bedroom villa accommodation was certainly large enough for two people.
Maybe 2 small bottles of water in the room fridge,for one week, is a bit stingy...

The Grande Isle resort was so relaxing. Both our accommodations and the resort itself were well appointed. The beach is large and the chairs / towels / staff are great. Two pools to enjoy along with easy dining and bars made our days fun and relaxing. Highly recommend the spa (ask for Shelly!), golf, and going off resort to enjoy all that Exuma has to offer. I’d also suggest renting a car for ease.

The airconditioner in the penthouse was not cooling enough. Had to call twice to have fixed. They came later and try to fix the problem.

The property was beautiful. Very well manicured and lush. The villa (5103) was spacious, clean and pretty. You can see the ocean, but there are obstructions from other villas. Bedrooms are comfortable. Beach and pools are fantastic! Palapa is a good restaurant. Every staff member we encountered was kind and professional. We absolutely enjoyed our time at Grand Isle!

We had a wonderful time. The resort is very nice - a few little issues with service, but have to say the staff was so nice - it really was OK. The mid-price restaurant could use a few more choices - especially for dinner - but overall very good. Would certainly go back again!

Very nice resort . Big island with a lot of beautiful beaches .. rent a car go explore lots more to see then just the resort . Blu on the water restaurant off property with amazing views .

The property was beautiful and the staff were both friendly and helpful. We ended up getting upgraded to a three bedroom villa - a little overkill for just the two of us, but was amazing nonetheless! We highly recommend dinner at 23° North - it was the best food we ate over the course of the entire vacation! Sherry, the concierge, helped to set up a tour with Exuma Water Sports, which I also highly recommend.

FIRST TIME HERE. THIS IS A WONDERFUL RESORT. GROUNDS ARE IMMACULATE. THE BEACH IS AS GREAT AS ALL THE OTHERS ON THE ISLAND. THE VILLA WE STAYED IN WAS SPACIOUS WITH ALL FIRST CLASS AMENITIES AND SPOTLESS. BEST OF ALL WERE THE MANY STAFF PERSONNEL ALWAYS THERE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED. VERT VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. FINALLY THE RESTAURANTS WERE ALSO VERY GOOD.

Great place to stay in Exuma! The property is beautiful, beach was super clean, spa services were excellent, and the on-site restaurants served delicious food.
