Location of this property is fabulous, lovely spa, great pools, BUT, although the property has been recently renovated, there are some things that we found very frustrating - beds not comfy at all and they were two single beds pushed together in a way that made it uncomfortable as a couple. Zero sound insulation so unfortunately we heard everything that the neighbouring room chose to do - their tv echoed into our room and it was impossible to get any peace. Staff largely kind but we did also have an incident where the cleaning staff barged into our room at 9pm without knocking and waiting which was very embarrassing.

A lovely hotel with impeccable staff who provide a high level of service and attention to their guests.
Our room (for 2 adults a child) was very spacious with a wrap around balcony, and although I'd say it was a little dated with limited clothes storage space for 3 (and a slightly impractical bath shower that flooded the floor with every shower we took), nevertheless, this was made up for by the cleanliness of absolutely everything!
Breakfast was fairly simple with limited choice, which isn't a bad thing. And what was provided was served with such attention by the funny and caring staff.
The pool areas had plenty of sun loungers, including over the decked area beside the lake, so it was never an issue with getting hold of one.
The hotel grounds are well maintained with beautiful lanscaping, and is located in such a convenient location just around 5 minutes from the main squares in town next to the castle.
We would definately recommend this hotel to stay in if you are considering staying in Sirmione.

Splendid. This is a real treat. Right by the lake so we could jump into the fresh, clear waters. Sirmeone is unbelievably beautiful and you are right there. Staff is very observant and helpful. We extended our stay. Thank you.....

Hotel location is amazing - would definitely recommend. The pool area, breakfast and staff also excellent. Our only complaint would be the beds are not the comfiest - the mattress could do with updating. But would still go back again

Great quiet location just a 10 minute walk to the very busy main part of beautiful Sirmione. Sunloungers overlooking the lovely lake, and good size pool. No tea or coffee making facilities so we took our own kettle and hotel provided fresh milk when they filled the mimi bar, without being asked, another nice touch. Spa facilities lovely and thermal hot pools to “take the waters” The service from the friendly staff was excellent, always there to help and advise. We had fabulous weather and did boat trips around the lake everyday, our favourites were Garda, lots of good shops as well as lovely setting and Salò very pretty and sleepy.

Hotel and staff were first class. A very friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our 5 night stay the staff were very attentive and friendly. Our room was upgraded on our arrival to a suite which had a side view to the Lake a lovely clean, spacious and bright room. The Breakfast Buffett was good a very wide choice for all tastes. The hotel is in a perfect location and comfortable short stroll to the buzzy town centre which is absolutely stunning. The pool and spa area are A1 impeccably kept sun loungers by the lake and never a problem claiming one! Our stay was perfect in every way looking forward to our next stay. We had such a lovely week at the Hotel Continental.
It has the most beautiful location on the lake but yet 5 minutes walk from the gorgeous little town of Sirmione.
As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by reception. We booked a lakeview room which I would definately recommend as the views are stunning!
A spotlessly clean hotel with lovely staff. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. We chose to use local restaurants for dinner but people we spoke to on half board said the dinners were excellent too.
I will definately be returning! Thank you to all the wonderful staff

Driving thru narrow cobbled streets of SIrmione to get to this hotel give you feeling of authenticity.. step out of this classy hotel to the spa,pool or another few yards to private lakeside loungers and swim in the lake..staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and reasonably priced drinks and excellent breakfast!rooms spacious and well presented..go for a Lakeview if u can!

We had a weeks stay at this hotel on a B&B status. Hotel location ideal and amenities very good, thermal spa pool,swimming pool and wellness features ie facials,massage etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very good although we tended to eat out most evenings.
The hotel is located toward the end of the peninsula but is within easy walking distance of the boat ferry and the bus stop.We would definitely recommend a vist to Lake Garda and staying in this hotel.

A superb hotel with welcoming & attentive service from all staff we encountered. Ideally located right on the lake with great outdoor seating areas & lovely thermal pool with spa facilities. Hotel restaurant a little pricey, although good quality. Only 5-10min stroll into town makes hotel close enough without being disturbed by noise.
Suggest if getting cab, drop off at castle other end of town & then walk the 10-15min to hotel if luggage not too heavy. It'll save around 10euros due to narrow streets where cab has to take time negotiating pedestrians. You can get bus between Verona main rail station & Sirmione for around €4 one way then get aerobus from station to airport for similar amount. Takes a bit longer, but get to see more of area & much cheaper than €80 cab fare. Or train to Desanzano, then ferry or cab to Sirmione is also an option.
