The location is great, the reception staff is outstanding, but the kitchen staff needs to be re-trained about time conscious customer service, good manners, and empathy, it is unacceptable that the food takes 1,5 hours to be served. The hotels.com advertising is misleading, the hotel is divided in two zones: one by the beach and the other one on the other side of the main street, we were placed on the other side of course in a room where is almost impossible to rest, the floor is wooden made and you can hear every step the neighbors take. The hot water on the shower is non-existent. On the 2nd day we didn't leave the place because all hotels were full. We spent 5 nights, and they never serviced nor cleaned the room. We understand the island related constraints for business but for the price they are charging many things could be way better or at least improved. On the other hand Exhumas Island is a paradise, plenty of beaches and places to go and explore. We definitively are going back but not to this hotel.

Hotel installations and personal are good. The main lowlights was the cleanning room services, me and my girlfriend stay a whole week and if we dont ask for the cleanning room service they dont provide it. However the worst was the restaurant. Delays of 1:30 hs for a pizza, bad service, missing orders and bad actitude of the people who serve.

The rooms were very beachy, clean and convenient to Georgetown and the airport. We were just here for an overnight stay but they had lots of water activities for the guests

It was nice. This is the 4th time we have been there.

We enjoyed our 8 day stay at Hideaways. Beaches and views were great, water amazing. We found if you are dining at any establishment service is very slow like most things on the island. If you’re looking for a slow beach vacation this is the place for you. Hats off to our fav bartender Akeem you are the best.

Property nice, conveniently located. Cats a nice addition. Nice staff, good food at the restaurant. Room was ok, a little overpriced for what you get. arrived a day late due to freak freeway road closure making us late for our flight. Since booked thru Expedia and low no cancel rate, wouldn't give us any adjustments. Was hoping hotel would reduce resort fees since wasn't there one night and never used cleaning services for the whole week, but manager wouldn't offer anything.

LOVED the peace and quiet of this property!! We had a little bungalow in the back and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant had a variety of options for all 3 meals and they were all GREAT! There was some construction going on, creating more places to stay but it wasn’t loud at all and the workers were all so nice and friendly. My only suggestion would be to have maybe a little area where we could buy a few snacks without having to take a taxi into town. Other than that, fantastic!!

The cottages are clean and have basic furniture and the ability to make coffee or tea in the morning or whenever with a fridge. The walls are a bit thin, so if you have a nextdoor neighbor you may hear them. The front desk is helpful in making reservations and pleasant. The free shuttle is a great feature, but schedule could be improved with additional departure times in the morning (currently only 9am and 11am). If you want to have breakfast in Georgetown and go to another activity it may be a bit difficult, however you can usually find a taxi ro take you. It was nice to have breakfast at Splash included, it was basic, but good, more fruits would be nice. The beach is fine, but it disappears at high tide.

Everyone was fine and lovely. The property had some new fixes but overall it’s on par for the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s such a great place for traveling with kids. The villa was better than expected and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

The beach was so peaceful and staff friendly and accommodating. This was the most relaxing vacation I've had. Would definitely go back.

Stay was good, pleasantly surprised! The one thing I would comment was that the restaurant would not allow you to charge to the room and was Cash Only! Thankfully I had enough cash on me for some meals - I don’t think it’s connected to the hotel but that would be my comment- Be prepared for that!

The resort is beautiful but our room had broken tile on the floor and not much for amenities, the staff are really friendly and do everything they can to make your stay good. It’s a different world there than what we are used to in the states. Everything is very expensive and heavily taxed.

This is a great place to stay with comfortable beds and a nice mini kitchen. But the restaurant was closed, no housekeeping staff in the off season and no hairdryers.

the property is good , comfy bed , kitchen with appliances , bathroom etc is ok , my only complaint was the floor was sandy , it needed a good mopping , might have been from the last guest , other than that no other issues .

The women up front are awesome! They were super patient and nice, we (22) and (20) had an amazing stay! The Jolly beach is 5-7 mins walking very clean beach for swimming. Hoopers Bay is 5 mins driving so 37 mins walking to swim with the sea turtles! Karaoke and bars are 7 mins walking distance. We stayed in Room 315 and it had everything we needed! A very cozy room. We highly recommend coming here for a getaway from the noisy/busy world!

The place was clean, close to market and town. They offer a shuttle to town, and the staff were incredible and friendly.

If you are looking for peace and tranquillity Hideaways is the place to be! It is a quaint tropical reside away from the hustle and bustle of life! The people and the staff are wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Hideaways. The staff was very friendly and helpful to get around the island. "Splash" bar and grille was a nice spot to hang for drinks and food. Our room was spacious and clean. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
