A fantastic location in the heart of the pedestrianised part of Riva del Garda. Reception staff were very welcoming, although at breakfast quite often overlooked and had to wait a long time for a coffee. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and of good quality. The room for a family of 4 was very spacious with a large double bed, a single bed and a single sofa bed. All very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. However, as a 4 star hotel the room was a bit bland and sparse (everything the same neutral colour with nothing on the walls)with no facilities such as tea or coffee available. The lift up to the 3rd floor was fine for us but for anyone with mobility issues they would struggle with all the steps to even get to the lift. Being in the centre of the old part there is no parking. It was very busy being the weekend of the windsurfing world championships! We did manage to find a parking space but it was some distance to the hotel. Again, fine for us but others may struggle. The room and the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The 'solarium' (roof terrace) is a lovely spot to sit and catch some sun with fabulous views over the higgeldy piggeldy rooftops towards the lake. Would recommend and stay again.

The location is great. Close to sights and restaurants. The breakfast is poor, the coffee is a disaster. Staff shows lack of motivation. The so called Junior Suite is a room between staff rooms and bicycle cellar with poor air quality despite A/C.

Nice place... except the air in our room did not work well. It was hot at night!! . We ended up opening the windows but it did not help much and the noice and light kept us from sleeping.

Not easy to get there by car. The reseptionist was not friendly, but rest of the staff was very nice.

We chose this hotel for its location and the price. Located in the centre of Riva Del Garda, ideal for activities on the lake and local restaurants. Friendly staff who were attentive and helpful. Good secure parking close by which enabled us to park up for the whole of,our time in Riva, knowing the car and its contents were safe. Nice breakfast, with a good selection of food. The. Only grumble was the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough in view of the high temperatures, and led to some difficulties in sleeping due to the heat. Otherwise fantastic place and highly recommended.

The fittness was only 2 machines. It was not any fittness center. Wifi worked only in reception. The young girl in reception was not professional. She could not help us with retaurant reservation. When you have four stars, and we expect little more. The manager was very good one, lots of thanks for her.

This hotel is situated walking distance from the train station and town centre. Our room was modern yet authentic, clean and excellent value for money. Breakfast was just what we wanted with nice fresh fruit, eggs, yoghurt etc would highly recommend!

The area is very relaxed with biking, beach and water sports. Town over more beach type town with more focus on water sports. Hotel - Wifi was limited. Breakfast was hot and cold.

Very small, no in room refreshments, no climate control in 40 degree heat, low quality breakfast, no fresh pastries, dry cakes, powdered eggs, concentrated juices, unfortunately disappointing, not a 4 star standard. Left one day early at my expense.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a great central location. We had half board and the food was of a good standard. Just a couple of evenings which weren't quite up to standard of four star. But still more than edible!

Great hotel in the old town. Simple rooms but very clean. Great breakfast with huge selection of cereals, cheeses, meats, eggs, yoghurt, breads and pastries. We had a hire car and the hotel can provide a card for a reduced rate in a nearby car park (€12 a day) otherwise you can park in the blue spaces on the street (€5 a day) however these were few and far between.

This hotel was just lively; staff was wonderful and accommodating during a very tough business trip with hours that varied daily. They were always preparing breakfast early for us.

We stayed for a weekend in this hotel with my family (wife and toddler son). The staff was extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. We were pleased with the hotel's location, with several restaurants right outside, and access to shopping conveniently located. Only negative aspect was not having wifi in the hotel room, as it was only available in the hotel lobby.

Hotel room style is a little "bare", but I liked this. Very clean, and looked newly renovated. Room was quiet. Breakfast buffet really quite good (coffee and OJ could be improved, we are after all in Italy). Parking available outside old town with card or in nearby underground car park, fairly reasonable. You can drive up to hotel to drop luggage, (entrance in old town looks difficult to get through, but it is possible). Internet charged per hour and only in lobby. Staff friendly and helpful.

Antico Borgo is a fine hotel. It does not offer a laundry service, no shoe shine machine, or, mainly, a lobby computor to check email. But the safe, central location in the pedestrian zone of the old town is wonderful. Its very clean. And all the staff were so helpful. Riva and surrounding areas, just delightful.2 minutes walk to the Lake, and 10 minutes walk to the ferry steamers to cross the lake. #62 bus from Verona is the best route.

Lovely 4 star hotel, very friendly staff, ideally located among shops, restaurants and lake. Room was very clean, serviced daily. Breakfast and dinner available (no food service outside these times), bar available for drinks/coffees any time of day in the relaxing lobby area. Rooftop terrace with sun loungers and sofas and mini gym.
