Good for a stay to meet a cruise. The drivers to town were very nice and available.
Not a lot of amenities, but good for a quick stay to go to cruise.
Only negative was the dinner food for us.

We liked the hotel but the dining room staff left much to be desired. We arrived at the restaurant before closing and were rudely turned away— no apologies and no help in finding other food. So eat before you arrive at this hotel! We did get the impresssion that all of the staff were kind of over tourist.
The rooms were comfortable and the shower excellent.

This is a new hotel that is perfect for guests waiting to board a cruise in Ravenna. It’s clean and modern and very comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, the only blip was the very slow service. We were served just bread no water and no one came back for 20+ minutes to take our order while we watched other tables seated after us get served.
Other than that everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Front desk personnel was great. We got to the hotel a little late. Another nog group came at the same time. People at restaurant were not too nice. They were in a hurry and would’t explain dinner options. The room was very nice.

Antonio and Julia from the front desk were wonderful and most helpful. The view was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic.

Nice hotel. Supplied a shuttle service at a cost to the cruise port. Isn’t around much in Ravenna would need a vehicle to get there

We briefly stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. Very clean, and pretty. The staff was very helpful and very polite. The bed was comfy. We would come here again.

Great hotel for the stay before/after the cruise. The shuttle books fast for the drop off to the cruise ports so make sure you reserve it immediately upon checking in and DO NOT be late they will leave as it occurred to a friend of ours.

Breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is Modern and clean. Not far from the port if you are going on a cruise.

The living room part of my suite was a mess when I arrived. Apparently there was an upgrade of the furniture going on and the workers didn't clean up when they were done. It was fixed rather quick though, so after that the cleaning was ok. The hotel is located outside the city, so you need a car or go by taxi to the city. You could walk of course, but it's a rather long walk. Unfortunately the SPA was not available due to renovation. Staff was service minded and the breakfast was ok, but not so many options.

Spacious. Vanessa was on point and easy to reach. I would recommend this place without reservations.

Ten minutes from Cruise Terminal. Able to schedule a shuttle for 15euros/pp.

The location was difficult to get to and there are very few taxis in Ravenna. The front desk staff was not helpful in getting us a taxi to the hotel or to our cruise ship. Overall it was a very frustrating and unpleasant stay. And the "free wifi" did not work AT ALL. No one seemed to care when I brought this to their attention.

Very Plesant staff. There was a wedding so dinning was not an option so had to go elsewhere. Rooms were nice & roomy.

Our stay was great! The staff were helpful.
We arrived in the train station late at night and no taxi available to go to the hotel. We called the hotel if they can help us. Antonio (hope we got the correct name :) )
sent their company driver and picked us up in the train station.

The property is not close to the city center, 10 mins in car if you can find one.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. No taxis or buses from the train station to this hotel after 6 PM that we could find. In Google maps it looks close to the pier but it was a $50 taxi ride to the harbor.

My experience during my stay were phenomenal. Friendly staff, accommodation was great. The only downside is that, it is a little bit far from the train station. Which i walked for 40 minutes, didnt find a single taxi around Ravenna.

Very nice, upscale hotel. Large, modern room. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant for a quiet dinner and great breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

We used the Grand Hotel Mattei for a 2 nights stay before our NCL Cruise. It was far from the Bologna airport but only 30 mins from the cruise port. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is wonderful. It is about 10 min drive by car from the Ravenna city center so not easy to just walk out to explore. Nothing really in the immediate area. However the staff is very helpful in calling you a cab.
