Could do with softer pillows an a big bed rather than 2 singles pushed together as kept seperatin apart from that it was great

Great place within 5 mins walking distance of the town centre. It’s not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for and the room we had was very clean. The rooms are a little tired with parts of the carpets heavily worn. The parking area is very small and could be an issue if you have a larger vehicle.

2 way lighting only working by the door. No anti-slip mat in the bath liked:- provision of soaps/shampoo. quietness.

Hotel is a little dated & worn but very central. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Hotel is very central & would stay again.

Great option for a quick stay in the city. Rooms and beds were very big. There was a kettle, iron and ironing board in the room. Very close to loads of restaurants and bars, and very convenient to walk to Cheltenham city bits.

The airconditioning of room was not adequately indicated. Pillows were very hard and duvet was heavy not light and cosy. I felt overall there was not good value for money. Location was good.

Generally OK - Over priced for what is delivered

When we arrived the bath was half full of water. The bed was 2 singles beds pushed together. The tile steps looked like a swimming pool floor. Overall, was disappointed with our stay.

Our room stank of cigarette smoke. The night manager agreed but just shrugged

It was easy to get to and we were able to just enjoy our time without being disturbed.

A perfectly acceptable budget hotel. I think adverse reviews have been placed by competitors!!! The staff carried my case down the steps which I appreciated as I am getting on a bit. The door card entry system worked perfectly for the first time in my experience!

The hotel was ok but the bathroom was a bit grubby sadly.

Omg where do we start i have never been to a hotel which i couldnt wait to leave. Room dated divan bases split and wonky. The room needed a complete update and to top it off went ro use the cups and dirty teabags were in all the mugs.

Beds pretty uncomfortable but overall ok & great location

Check in was super easy. We arrived earlier than expected but were able to access our room. Location is excellent and an added bonus of secure parking. One little thing we only had 1 pillow each and would have preferred 2, but apart from that great stay. Didn't have breakfast.

Hotel was excellent value and in the perfect location. It was clean, but is looking dated and in need of renovation.

Nice staff, lovely room, all was good wigh the whole stay.

The location of the hotel is so convenient because is just close to High Street, shops and restaurants. The hotel has parking and is very easy to find.

Ageing Concrete block, good location

Convenient location in town centre. Plenty of selection of eateries close by. The hotel staff were friendly but the accommodation is in need of updating but perfectly adequate if all that is required is a basic hotel room with bathroom at a very competitive price.

The hotel was dirty & mouldy. Found a nail clipping by the bed so God knows when the carpets were last cleaned. Dust on every surface and mould around the windows. Bathroom was mouldy and not very clean. Staff at front desk very helpful and polite.

Location was excellent. Could have done ewith extra pillows. However cannot complain as the price was excellent. We slept well and we're allowed to check-in early which was really good. Bathroom clean.

Good: room was fine, very comfortable bed, cleaner was friendly. Acceptable budget hotel. Bad: desk clerk told me the parking charge was £8 but when I returned with the car later he tried to charge me £10. I didn’t fall for it. Maybe I should give him the benefit of doubt but I got the feeling it was deliberate. No apology was forthcoming.

Room was dirty , the duvet smelled of sweat and the carpet was filthy. Fi xtures and fittings were broken.

i was told i did t have a booking on that night and was turned away, I ended up sleeping in a bush

We arrived and the first room we was out Into was room 109 it was filthy there was black bits in the bathroom draws and dust well was Thick and everywhere so we approached front desk and complained immediately they said we could move and agree with us and upgraded us to a suite upon the second floor 217 loverly clean room But problems struck again the heating didn’t work and the staff couldn’t get it to work In the words basil faulty it was flue bard so a portable Heater was given to us after three hours and kept On the room was kind of a tick ( But which room Don’t have plug sockets next to the bed I Thought this was stupid but the rest of the room was great laid out well as. We enjoyed Despite the start and the ups and downs downs don’t let it put you of the hotel is. Very well located and the staff are just fabulous and awesome they work there socks of to make sure your stay goes well :) 10/10 staff 10/10 Breakfast it’s simple and cheap 7/10 for rooms and laid out and cleaness levels 4/10 Bar don’t have a great selection and. No sprits 10/10 for location

Convenient location, plenty of dining options walking distance.

The hotel has a great location with underground parking for £10 a night (tight spaces so careful if you have a big car). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable - a great, value hotel with everything we needed. Would stay again.

The hotel is ok, gave YMCA hostel vibes. The most disappointing part was the breakfast, you can hardly call that a breakfast, its just toast bread, some croissants and pastries. If you love hot breakfasts like me then this is a no. Wasnt the cleanest hotel too. Thought it was overpriced, paid £104 for a Wednesday night, middle of the month. Was underwhelmed, and wont be staying there again thats for sure.

Central location, quiet and comfortable (although the double bed was two singles pushed together). Will happily stay again for work visits.
