Nice location with scenic views. Restaurant was good. There is a pool, gift shop and laundromat on site.

The room was older, with sticky padio door, from lots of paint. So it really didnt close well. Then we had an infestation of asian beatles one evening after we were out to a Celtic Colors consert. Im talking 30 to 40 beatles flipping around the ceiling. Also no other hotels or motels abailable because of the busy season, so we left, and drove home to PEI. Disappointing becoming we came for the Cabot Trail, and didn't get to see it. Not a great experience.

A beautiful lodge setting with private and comfortable rooms, many of which have a view of the lake. The place could use a little refresh in some areas, but the comfort and cleanliness is beyond reproach.

Family of 5 adults stayed in two adjoining chalets. It was perfect!! Lots of room and all the amenities you would expect. Very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Would definitely book at the Silver Dart again.

Stayed in the chalet. Gorgeous view of Bras d’Or Lake. Two very comfy queen beds. The wall between the two rooms seems thin as we heard the neighbours speaking, dragging furniture and coughing. But once they settled for the night it was super quiet. Clean and very friendly reception staff.

A hotel with good sea views in a pleasant village. Well appointed rooms, efficient, friendly staff and excellent food at very reasonable prices. Well worth staying here if you are in this area.

Had a lovely view of the Bras d’Ors Lakes. Be sure to call the lodge first if you have a pet. Initially we were assigned to a room that said no animals even thought the property is listed as pet friendly. They were able to accommodate us and switch rooms but the entire place is not pet friendly they have a building that is for people with allergies.

This was a lovely place. Nice, quiet location but close to town. Very spacious rooms with lovely water views. Staff very friendly. Restaurant on site but we didn’t eat there. We were very satisfied.

Great location to start your trip on the Cabot Trail. The hotel is dated but is clean. Our room had a deck facing the lake that was perfect to watch the sun set. There is also laundry machines that are available 24 hrs.

Great spot to stay. The pool was awesome. Next time we'll stay for more than one night.
When we visited the restaurant they were out of food, so we noted that we should go for dinner earlier next time.

Lake side lodge with clean and comfortable room. Quiet and cozy. Highly recommended. We checked in late at a rainy night but were greeted warmly by the staff.

Very nice property with trails, pool and restaurant on sight. We used the lodge as a place to rest while we went sightseeing all day. We wished that we had booked an extra day to rest on the property because it really had a lot more to offer besides a place to sleep. This is a great location if you plan on doing the Cabot Trail.

Staff were terrific. The room was clean, ample parking. TV was really old, snowy screen. Had seafood chowder for supper one evening, very tasty!

You can easily walk into the picturesque downtown of Baddeck to browse the shops, stroll the pier with a coffee or even take in one of the nightly Ceilidh’s (Cape Breton music). The view from the restaurant is beautiful!

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms are fine for a stop over, a little dated. The pool was warm and clean. We ate in the dining room and the food was good and reasonably priced.

Stayed here for a night before exploring Cabot Trail. This resort has a very good view of the lake and is at a very good location. the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are spacious and the property has ample of parking spaces.
