This was my second time here and it was even better than before. The hotel was very clean, service was excellent and of a high standard. Great location, I even got a spa treatment at the spa. Luxurious feel, love it and will return.

Great stay . Great location

The first 2 nights, the room I paid for wasn’t given to me —- I was told that the GM would contact me about getting the difference back and that still hasn’t happened. I eventually got the room I paid for and requested on the 3rd night, however I almost didn’t receive it because I was told an “influencer” was going to be there to take photos and such, which as an influencer as well I understand, however my reservations as well as unresponded to emails stated exactly what I needed weeks prior to my arrival. When we finally did get into the room, the shower was flooding, maintenance worked on it for two days and eventually it started working properly. However because of the dampness due to the flooding there were water bugs in the room, so we had to make sure our luggage was properly zipped and in the closet safely put away. On the second to last night the hot water stopped working …. The night manager was going to have us shower in a guest public bathroom two floors down and across the hotel, as a woman, that made me uncomfortable. But luckily the day time manager the following day found us another bathroom on our floor in a private room for us to shower and change comfortably. The best thing I can say about this place was that all the staff were truly amazing and by staff I mean the employees who work there and the managers on duty—> not including the General Manager who has yet to contact me.

The location was very central. It had quite a few restaurants within the block that were delicious. The view from the rooftop cannot be beat!

Arrived early and received warm reception. Staff arranged for room to be made up early while we waited at rooftop bar with superb view of Table Mountain. Facilities were well maintained & all staff were excellent and we would definitely return.lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance

Great location. Hotel kindly upgraded us for our honeymoon. Room was nice and had a small balcony with lovely view of table mountain. It’s an older hotel so felt a bit tired (sound proofing could be better and the water from the shower leaked all over the floor each time). Overall nice stay, we enjoyed the restaurants nearby!

Excellent location! Beautiful and clean facilities. Fantastic view from the roof top! Relaxing pool area. Great food all day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and gave us so many great recommendations for places to see, how to get around, and where to eat, and they helped us with booking restaurants, tickets, day trips and everything else we needed. There were lots of fantastic restaurant in the area. The stay at Cloud 9 was just perfect! Would definitely come back.

This is a very well placed hotel, close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet. The most amazing roof top bar, views that will blow your mind! Comfortable, clean, lovely staff, my second visit and will not be the last.

Cloud 9 was a beautiful hotel! Right when you walk in, it smells so good. There’s a spa inside the hotel so that might be why, but i definitely appreciated it. The staff was INCREDIBLY kind and helpful and just all around wonderful. South African people are so hospitable. The room was gorgeous and clean and the beds were super comfortable. Getting around was easy as the location is very convenient. The rooftop bar has a great view and the restaurant below is delicious. The pool deck is really nice and the little pool is actually heated unlike many pools I’ve encountered. It’s super nice. Overall, great stay. Would go again and recommend to others.

This hotel was exceptional. Clean, spacious room and bathroom, with an amazing shower. The bed was so comfortable. Rooftop terrace has outstanding views of Table mountain & Lion’s head, and the food was also delicious. The location makes it a great jumping off point for all the touristy destinations, and we would happily stay here again!

Amazing! Best spot in Gardens, Cape Town by far! 5 star hotel & service!

The check in was bad. The gates to the property were locked, and no signs with any type of direction as to where the reception is. Coming from another country, I was not just able to use my phone to call, so I had to wait for another guest to come and they called. It was not a good experience at all!

This hotel is situated in an excellent location and there are coffee shop sand restaurants all around it with a stunning view of the mountain from the rooftop. The rooms were neat, clean and tidy, spacious and had all the amenities. Staff and service was great. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the city

Cloud 9 has had a revamp and it is fabulous! Such a warm welcome from reception, lush rooms with a very comfortable bed and proper coffee (Nespresso). The rooftop bar is great! There are also two plunge pools and a sauna, which was especially turned on for me the morning after a night out ;) Highly recommend staying here! Thanks team!

Nice location, friendly and helpful staff

Second time staying here and still same great service and friendly and accommodating staff. Love the location, walk to many bars, restaurants and shops. Room was super comfy and sound proof windows. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

Nice location. NIce style. But rooms can be very noisy: either from bar or from road and plumbing. Preferable to stay here out of season when its calmer, less noise, and staff are less stressed. If you happen to have food allergies, be very very careful to check anything you order in the cafe that does breakfasts: mine had an accident which make me sick.

Restaurant on site, pool, jacuzzi, and nice sized room! The only thing that didn’t work was our in room coffee machine but very minor inconvenience

This is a charming hotel with great and helpful staff and a nice rooftop bar where you can see the mountains in full view. The location is great if you like to be near the mountain and bo kaap. Room is spacious. i'd visit again.

Great customer service, staff friendly, provided useful advice & booked trips online at no extra charge. Although a mid-afternoon check-in time, we were able to leave our cases with the concierge pre check-in & after checking out too. There is a guest bathroom with shower to freshen up on arrival as we were too early for check-in. Stunning views from the roof terrace over the city & of Table Mountain, good choice of drinks & snacks up there. Good range of breakfast choices. The rooms had great character. We had a minor problem in the room, which was not an issue for us, but the team were very prompt in resolving it.
