Could not have asked for better! Do yourself a favor and pay the little more for a balcony room. They view of the marina and mountains is worth it! Great location, easy walk to restaurants and shops and close to bus stop 15. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The hotel was located in an easy access with a view along the harbor with a grocery store around the corner. Junior suite was perfect for my family of four. Quaint hotel with holiday cheer and character, fire pits to welcome and warm and friendly staff to help made our trip perfect. If you want to get in early than 2 pm however I would recommend booking the room the night before if you have an early morning arrival from a red eye as the room otherwise may not be available. Breakfast was delish and great to walk down to every day

Excellent hotel, no problems whatsoever. I had a comfortable room facing the harbour. The hotel restaurant was excellent. Reception staff were also excellent, friendly and very helpful. The bus to the airport picks up just down the street. A good location a short walk from all the sights of Reykjavik.

This hotel is an eclectic and comfortable place to stay close to all that is Reykjavik. We stayed here 3 nights because it was close to a lot of what we wanted to see. Plenty of parking behind the building. They have several rooms you can hang out in and a restaurant on site. We enjoyed drinks and snacks one night. Our room had a balcony overlooking the marina. One of our favorite restaurants was a block away alongside several other restaurants to choose from. There also was a bagel/bakery that was open early where we were able to get breakfast sandwiches. We were fortunate to be able to see northern lights 2 of those nights right from our balcony!

The staff were professional and knowledgeable about any concerns we had. The food was great. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The area was a vibe. Close proximity to everything we were interested in seeing. The property and the city is a must.

I had a single room and it was clean and austere. Check in time is 1500 but they will take your luggage for safe keeping and did allow me the room early. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. The area around the entrance does look rough but take a walk. I felt very safe. I was catching a cruise and it was perfect. They do have a restaurant attached for convenience if needed. I would stay here again.

The common spaces in the hotel were great. We had some initial concerns with our room but Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

A frequent visitor at this quirky, convenient, comfortable hotel. Breakfast is good and the restauarant/bar is friendly with great cocktails and excellent menu. Have never been disappointed. Book a marina side room with balcony. Watched the fireworks on culture night from my room.

Great location. Neat being near the various ships in the harbour if you can score a sea view room. Walking distance to many dining options,cafes, museums, shops, and public pools (which are a real treat if you haven’t tried one yet.) The lobby and nearby sitting rooms are extremely comfy and relaxing, and although small, our hotel room was well organized.

Amazing location right on the water & super close to shopping & great restaurants/bars. Lovely front desk staff made check-in super easy & free parking was available nearby- wow. Nice room & great view.

Once more we commenced and finalized our yearly Iceland trip by staying at the Marina hotel.
It is wonderful and we always receive excellent service. The view from the room towards the bay and shipyard is second to none.

This was a very nice hotel in a good location to walk into the old town center area for food and shopping. The breakfast was a bit of a shock with it being a buffet costing 35/pp. That seemed a bit high for what they had and depending on the time, it was very crowded due to the tour groups staying at the hotel.

Fun little hotel, unique decor with several cute little spots to hang out - guest lounges, a cinema. We loved the location down by the docks, a little out of the busy area but still easy to walk to the main streets & museums.

Loved this hotel! After traveling internationally with aging grandparents, the staff was helpful and friendly and allowed us to store bags while we waited for our room. Everyone we talked to at the front desk had a great sense of humor as well which I sincerely appreciated.

I loved the facilities available Inside the hotel. There was a fire pit, a Comfortable sitting area, A reading room with a library of books waiting for you, And a wonderful restaurant.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and how to safe for valuables. The hotel is a little out-of-the-way, But not bad. There is plenty of parking nearby.

We loved our stay in Iceland at the Reykjavík Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotel! It had tons of places to sit and meet with friends, great food, and very nice rooms. It was within walking distance of a lot of things and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property staff were very welcoming and helpful. My flybus pick up was at a bus stop by the hotel but the street was closed for construction. They called the company arranged for a different pick up. The hotel itself had wonderful amenities and is all newly renovated. Lots of great spaces. The location is by all of the tour operators for excursions by boat and lots of restaurants and cafes. It’s pretty much in the heart of things but not in a noisy area.
