Only stayed for one night, staff were great breakfast was ok easy parking , served it’s function well for my requirements

A "budget" hotel with the basics that you are looking for. Comfortable bed and clean room / bathroom. A very good dinner. Good value

Room facing road was too noisy. Hotel bit far from rail station.. But breakfast was not bad.

My booking got cancelled days before my visit and wasn’t offered another alternative so had to find another b&b last minute

Lovely hotel, the staff are very polite and helpful. Very clean rooms, hot shower or bath. Only 10/15 minute walk into town or nearest beach. Breakfast was on point and the service was great. Would definitely stay again.

Shower had mold in it food was displayed unappetisingly noisy outside the window (room wasn’t on the main road so not traffic noise) construction and loud people def wouldn’t rate hotel 3 star

Had a comfortable stay for a couple of nights whilst Boardmasters was on. Decent location to walk down to Lusty Glaze for a chill out before walking down the surf all the way to the walkabout for a quick lunch time pint before heading over to fistral for the surfing. The staff were so friendly and breakfast was lovely and parking was easy considering the time of year. Would certainly consider it again next year if I don't do the whole festival again because as somewhere to park, lay your head and wash before going out and spending the day on the beach it was all we needed.

The hotel is cheap however the room was very tired. Parking is free however limited as the hotel is above a pub. The hotel is appropriate for contractors but not for families.

For a ‘deluxe’ room the bed was uncomfortable Shower pressure wasnt great and the room had a musky/damp smell to it and breakfast was very basic. But overall staff were very welcoming and free parking was a bonus.

Pleasant hotel. Lovely helpful staff. Rooms cleaned with fresh towels on a daily basis. Good hot and cold breakfast. Thank you

We had a disappointing stay at the Godolphin. While the staff were lovely, the facilities weren’t great. We slept poorly due to the uncomfortable bed, the amount of light let in by the curtains, and the thin walls which meant we could hear people coming in and out of the entrance. The parking was also really bad - we got blocked in on the second day, which meant we missed breakfast and had to walk to and back from our surfing lesson first thing in the morning 40 minutes away! We noticed we had been blocked in the night before so we spoke to a staff member, who said the van had parked there as they would leave by 6am, which was not the case. Overall, we felt that the hotel is overpriced.

Really lovely hotel 15 min walk to town, lovely tasty breakfast, with pub and garden. Staff so friendly and great service. Good value for money.

The breakfast is awful and people who servingthefoodthey speak rude, the room have been cleaned but the mattress is to old , i could feel all the springs and pillow is not good. Disappointing for a family trip

I unfortunately caught COVID a couple of days before going to the hotel and because I was ill I forgot to cancel the hotel online and they have charged me the full amount for the stay I have since contacted the hotel and they say there is nothing they can do as I should have cancelled I have since read reviews on other sites and if I had read these first before booking I would have not done so

Great place to stay well located for Porth Beach and Newquay Beach and center. friendly and helpful staff,Breakfast was really good and the evening meals where great would not hesitate to book again if we could.

good value hotel so wasn't expecting much. the walls must be paper thin because i had the pleasure of listening to a bunch off blokes in the next room being blokes till 1am ish! the room smelt of damp

Accommodation was very clean, some rooms abit dated but comfortable, breakfast was good and staff very accommodating

The hotel is a little bit out of the centre of the city (walking distance), but it was clean, comfortable, quiet and it included a really good English breakfast. Pub on site too. The bus stop is right out. I would stay again.

Nice little hotel, perfect for my solo trip, not the fanciest one but it does the job, the staff is very nice.
