The hotel was beautiful! Staff was accommodating and incredibly nice! Perfect location for walking around the city. Nice coffee shop next door.

Excellent service, clean rooms and pool area and surprisingly good varied fresh free breakfast. Only issue the pillows are super soft and many are needed to sleep comfortable.

This ten-year-old facility is located on the edge of the historic Portsmouth downtown shopping and dining district. Unlike most Hampton Inn properties I have stayed at, parking is a steep $40.
The queen bed had visible wear patterns on either side, with a discernible bump in the middle. Many of the faux wood surfaces are visibly worn and need repair. The structure lacked noise dampening between walls and floors which is a gamble if your neighbors are out late or like to pace the floor upstairs as ours did.
Ultimately, the location is excellent, the staff was knowledgeable, and the facility was as expected from this chain.

Prime location in Downtown Portsmouth. Walking distance to many local shops and dining options. If you do not want to pay $40 /day for parking on the premesis, you can use the Foundry Place Garage ($1/hr) about a block away.

The room was very modern and updated. Very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was quite nice and included hot and cold food choices. I do wish there was room service but that no longer seems to be a thing. I used Uber Eats instead and it was fine. Great location near shops of Portsmouth. Would definitely stay here again.

Check- in was easy however the parking situation was confusing. I selected this hotel because it said they had charging stations in their garage. When I arrived the valet parking sign said the lot was full. Then a valet attendant said it wasn’t full for the those staying at the hotel however there are no charging stations and I had to go to a garage around the corner. It wasn’t that far however the reason I selected this hotel was the charging capacity.

This is probably the very nicest Hampton Inn that I've stayed at. A warm and appealing lobby/breakfast area, nicely appointed and comfortable rooms and a great location on a very short tree-lined street with many restaurants around. Easily wakable to most sites.

Stayed for 1 night with wife and two young kids. Facility looks brand new, everything very nice. Kids liked pool. Breakfast pretty standard fare, cereal and the waffle maker, but well stocked and neat and tidy. Heart of Portsmouth downtown, we walked to get tacos. Would stay again.

Very average accommodations if not subpar. No restaurant or bar, no room service. Pool was maybe 20'x8' extremely small, no hot tub. Continental breakfast was a joke. Valet parking $40/night is outrageous. Construction noise was a huge problem, luckily they switched our room to the opposite side of the hotel or it would have been a terrible stay. For the price paid this is a very poor choice.

We arrived in the evening. We declined valet parking and found a spot on the street quite easily. We walked to a great place for dinner, guided be the recommendation of the person at the desk. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, though a bit crowded at 8:30. We enjoyed our visit and would happily return.

Staff (Amy) and the man who was working the breakfast this morning (8/18) were both wonderful - cheerful and helpful. The room was amazing - very clean, comfortable bed, more room than we needed (inadvertently was assigned an accessible room). Great location. Close to center of everything. Loved it.
