This property is a great modern style and layout, has high quality appliances and fittings. Heated towel rails, heated tiles, electric blinds, large shower heads and a spa bath. The only thing it is missing is an electric blanket. The master bedroom upstairs doesn’t have a door to block off the stairs so is unsafe for children. Great parking and a short walk to the river and lovely little cafe’s.

Our vehicle broke down on route to the property at about 5.30pm. It had to be towed to Orbost. We were completely unable to get to Metung. Unsuccessful attempts were made to contact the venue . Efforts were also made to contact Wotif. We are hoping the misfortune of a breakdown and the impossibility of getting there will persuade Wotif and/or the venue to refund our booking.

No internet for both nights!

Hard to get into. Light globes, not all working. Spa bath not working. Torn blinds. Lighting system hard to control. TV remote hard to work ( not original ) Generally needs to be freshened up.

Fantastic location close to town. Lovely property with everything you need for a short stay.

I've never stayed somewhere so nice! we made the most of regional Victorian's being able to travel for the long weekend, and because of the lock down we were able to get the penthouse apartment. Right from the get go the staff were great to deal with, they called to make sure we were following the restrictions in place. Emails then followed and texts to ensure the contact-less check in was a breeze. The staff we did meet were so friendly. The room itself was so much more than expected, It was well laid out and the added luxuries were amazing! it did have a few spots of wear and tear from over the years, but these aren't brand new apartments and didn't spoil the room. The reason we were drawn to this room was the private Sauna and Spa. these worked perfectly, BEST DECISION EVER!! The view and location were also top notch, a short stroll to the pub and restaurants, the walk to get there is along the water's edge boardwalk. I love visiting Metung and now that I've found this place I love it even more!

The weather was horrid, but it did not matter. Our stay was warm and comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely. We were within walking distance of most of the eateries and shops in Metung.

Great location, beautiful apartment! So well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bonus is a deep spa tub perfect for 2. Would be nice to have a table on the balcony.

5 Knots Metung is on the water and some apartments have sea views. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our stay here. Cafes, the pub and the general store are all in walking distance from 5 Knots.

Advertised as having a jetted bathtub but it does not have one.

Terrible and I want my money back I refuse to pay $400 for that I’ve stayed in nicer 3 star motels.

Our one bedroom apartment overlooking the lake had a balcony with bbq, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (spa), comfortable king size bed, tv with plenty of satellite channels, games, comfortable seating. Most impressive was the attention to every little detail and we had no complaints or suggestions for improvements, which is very rare.

Heating felt inadequate and not a throw rug in sight. Lovely looking blanket on bed that was as heavy as a carpet, so we put it on the floor. Coffee pod machine only provided cold coffee. No microwave available 2 seater leather lounge was stained and very low to ground and was quite uncomfortable The views and location of Metung are exceptional but we did shiver through our weekend. It made me wonder if the air conditioning would be adequate for a summer vacation.

The unit's condition was clean and modern. But the place was empty, as it was off season. So, it would have been much smarter for the property management to provide us with a free upgrade and give us a unit with a view! Our unit was the least desirable. We had a view of a fence. Oh, well...

We loved our 3 bedroom unit at 5 Knots. Very well appointed and a short walk to restaurants. Would definitely go back.

This apartment exceeded our expectations. Only a few minor reasons why they didn’t get an all over 5 star review. There was no frypan to fry eggs as they only had a griddle pan, there should have been some instructions left on how to operate the air conditioner. I did manage to get someone on the phone. Lastly we arrived around 3:30 and as there is no reception I had to check my phone for check-in details and noted that I had been sent a txt at 3pm for Appt No. I would suggest this could have been sent earlier.

The apartment has a very high spec. It is modern, well equipped, comfortable and in a great location just a few mi utes walk from the village centre. It has an easy access, no key, code system that avoids the need to have multiple keys for all family members. My only complaint was that I had to call them to check how I got access to the property given there are no staff on site. They said they were glad I called because my international phone number meant they had been unable to contact me. What about email? Anyway, it’s a great apartment.

Nice, clean and very modern. We booked 1 bedroom apartment with a jacuzzi. We will come back. It’s very recommended!!

I would highly recommend 5 Knots to anyone visiting Metung or the surrounding area. The apartments are equipped to a very high standard. It is close to Lakes Entrance where you can go sailing, fishing and if you are lucky you can see the local Dolphins. Metung also has some excellent restaurants and bars.

Very clean and great interiors with lots of facilities including a coffee machine too. Definitely recommended.
