Such a cute place to stay by the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful direct us to the amazing Maine food. Would recommend and return.

We had a fabulous stay from Check in to Check Out The room was wonderful and we had great weather which added to stay. Front desk staff were so pleasant & engaging to the staff in then breakfast lounge. So pleasant and friendly.

The walls are so thin that we can hear people talking in the rooms next door. The room is extremely small and the bathroom is even smaller with patches on the wall. With noise about and beside us it was difficult to rest.

Beautiful hotel

Great hotel right across from the beach! Perfect location. Restaurants and entertainment near by. Our room appeared to be in a newer section…it was very clean and in great condition. Majority of rooms have full or partial ocean view! Would recommend:)

Property is very well maintained. Saw staff at work throughout the day to keep everything clean and tidy. The facilities are very nice, at least in the Atrium building. The location can't be beat for beach access. Our room was a partial ocean view but it was pretty good on the third floor. You had to be on our balcony, but it was more than a peek-a-boo view.

This was our first stay at Anchorage Inn so we didn’t know what to expect. Our room was in the main building with an oceanfront view which made the whole experience. It’s evident the rooms have been recently refreshed but there are parts of the rooms/resort that are dated and a little tired. I don’t consider that a ding on the property - it’s more of an observation and a statement that the resort has stood the test of time and the home of many memories made there. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. We didn’t really encounter other staff which was fine. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely visit again.

Stayed in atrium building. Clean and comfortable

Stay was very good. Personnel at the check in desk were very pleasant. Facilities arrived promptly to fix door. For a place so large it didn’t feel crowded. The only area to be corrected is to prefigure the room. The bed and tv unit are much too close to get around. Also the bathroom Could use a fan.

We had an amazing stay at The Anchorage Inn! Beautiful resort, location, amenities, and rooms! Staff was awesome! We’d come back for sure if we travel here again!

Refrigerator was leaking, bed sheets were put on still damp, tv kept dimming on us, tv remote channel button only went down, room was tiny and the area between the dresser and the end of the bed that you had to walk between to get to the bathroom was about 18”

Loved the atrium which has its own swimming pool. Plenty of swimming options for all ages. Can walk to the beach or dinner from here! Friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the area.

Place is on Ocean, Thats what I liked. Bring your own chair, there are none in rooms. Bring your own bug spray, roaches would scatter when I would turn on bathroom light at night. When I was asked for a credit card for security deposit, it was charged again full price for room. When I called and asked why, I was told clerk hit wrong button, and money would be returned. My sister was there at the same time, her card had an extra charge also and would be refunded. In my opinion, if you stay here, check your credit card after you stay. I would never stay there again!

The Beach was wonderful, but the Main building was awful. The walls are paper thin. The pool was gross and the Windows you could barely see through. So NO VIEW which was the main reason I chose this place. I tried to complain to someone at the front office and only got an " I'm so sorry, I can't fix that" Then they looked past me. I cried for 2 days.

We like the cleanliness and location of the Anchorage. The staff is awesome. Love being right across from the ocean. We are regulars every year and love it there.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Anchorage. The property is well maintained, the room was clean and a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful. The back of the property was definitely quieter with an additional indoor pool. Excellent location directly across from the beach.

Nothing worked. Our room key cards had to be redone atleast 2 times a day. Patio door was broken We didn’t get the room we specified we wanted. Never came to clean our room in 3 day if our stay like they are suppose to. Talked to the manager and she seemed to not care. First time to Maine so it was disappointing to have crappy service. York Maine is beautiful. I will however never stay here again. Oh and talked to guest while visiting pool areas and they had similar issues
