Amazing

Everyone was very helpful with any and all requests. Before we arrived they were helped with information and during the entire stay. Staff was warm and friendly. Property has some of the best views of all of Tropea. Can’t wait to go back !!

From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful and offered suggestions based on what we wanted to do. The room and property is amazing. Some of the best views in town. Will not hesitate to rebook this hotel again.

The hotel was extremely clean and updated. Hospitality was 100%. From the moment we walked into reception from a long drive the excellence began. We were greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks and an exquisite view on the terrace. Fine Details of our stay was explained by patient staff member. Even upon checkout we were departed with complimentary waters to go. Cannot wait to return.

Rarely have I gone to a hotel and been treated so well. I felt as though I was welcomed not to a hotel but to a family home. Getting to the hotel is easy and you are located right in front of the beach. Head down the stairs and you are there. This is indeed a special place. Such a well run hotel deserves this kind of praise.

It is a very cute and nice decorated hotel in ocean front. The view is fabulous at the deck and dining area. The service Is great. Staff are very nice and lined up in the entry to greet you each morning. We had a nice stay. The price is quite reasonable.

Beautiful location sitting on edge of cliff. Book early and get ocean view room as locals flock here for good reason !! Walkable to everything. GO to main part of old town !! Wonderful breakfast and bar area..

This was the worst room accommodation of all the hotels we stayed at (8 of them) on our trip. What was pictured in the photos on Expedia of the rooms was not what we received. When we asked the staff to move they said they were sold out and could not move us. I really felt that this was not what we booked. The room was a lot of money and it was so awful. I considered booking another hotel when we arrived, but we would lose all our paid money since it was non-refundable, so we stayed. The staff and facilities were overall nice, they had limited dining facilities and the location was not what we expected, but the view from the deck was beautiful, too bad you couldn't dine out there for breakfast. This hotel is not a true luxury hotel but the views are beautiful and if you don't mind being inconvenienced, it may be for you, but book a sea view room or otherwise, the room will disappoint you.

The location was perfect and the people who looked after us were friendly and their level of service outstanding.

Very enjoyable stay and all of the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is small but well thought out. It’s 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the city centre. My only complaint is very minor, the shower could have been a bit cleaner and the bathroom is tiny.

Room was very clean and spacious. Loved the look set out with the stone work and design of the rooms. Excellent location and near the heart of town. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Definitely a place I would return to and stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rocca della Sena. The boutique hotel offering only 15 rooms is a quiet, off the beaten path hotel option for those who wish to stay in Tropea but not in the hustle and bustle of it all. The staff is so nice and accomodating--they'll book you restaurant reservations, excursions, taxis, make recommendations, etc. The hotel beds and pillows are sooo comfy--we could have slept for days! The hotel is a quick 8 minute walk to the main drag of Tropea. Very clean, modern and new. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent hotel with sweeping views. Steps down to beach (185!) with chairs reserved and a delicious restaurant recommendation. Walking distance to the town center. Nice breakfast and great bartender! Easy parking in front of hotel.

Staff was tremendous…could not have been more friendly & helpful. Only comment is that the room could have been more decorative and lighted…very plain & generally dark. Needs a lamp or two in addition to the outside light and overhead light.

We loved the property and the staff. They were so nice! Especially to us, as Americans with very knowledge of the language. The location is an easy, short walk from the old town. They shared a complimentary drink upon arrival, sunset for us. The breakfast was excellent, and huge. My complaints are very, VERY minor. The room lighting uses compact fluorescents, and could be updated to a warmer LED. I would stay there again.

Such a beautiful place with amazing people to help you with everything. We loved the location and the setting. We had a sea view and it was so worth the increased price. Just a perfect place to stay!

It’s not worth the high price they charge. It’s very dated decor. The view is good and the staff are nice but it’s not worth their rate at all. Way too expensive. It’s more like 1 star standard.

I’m disgusted that the hotel was neither willing to accommodate a credit greater than 12 months or refund due to Covid travel restrictions, for us travellers coming from Australia.

I HIGHLY recommend Rocca Della Sena. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The hotel was cozy, the staff was welcoming, and breakfast every morning rad fantastic. We also booked wonderful massages through the hotel. It truly could not have been a better trip. And Christina at the front desk is a total rock star!

Incredible hospitality!! Super clean. Great Breakfast. Best service possible. Tropea, the town, was a surprising delight. Views were incredible, at sunset we had a great view of Mt. Etna.
