Noisy and poor maintenance

Property needs updating. Front desk tries to help but very understaffed by one person only. Breakfast was nice. Location is good too. Rooms are extremely basic and sparsely furnished.

It was very loud, you can hear everything, hard if you’d like to sleep. Overall a nice place, great breakfast. Just too loud

It’s super central so give plenty of options for dinner at night and being dropped by the shuttle from the airport. Lucas was very helpful and nice. Property need some investment. More and more hotel are being built in the calafate area and the hotel is very dated. A bit like a 70/80s hotel. Also the 10am check out was a surprise…I had a bit of time on my last day and decided to take time after 2 intense weeks and targeted to check out at 11am but was asked to hurry at 10.30..:) despite the hotel not looking very busy.

Excellent centrasl location, lovely breakfast and all the tours know it so easy for pick-up. Would recommend.

Simple, clean property but over rated & very overpriced for a 3* motel. Good Location: only 1-2 block walk to main street & parks. Simple basic breakfast. There was No conditioner nor tissues in the room. Room Safe did not work. Outdoor Garden area with plastic Adirondack Chairs & tables. This is not an accessible property; many steps to reception/restaurant. On site parking.

The staff were great. The hotel is dated but very clean. Dated is ok if everything is kept in good working order. This was not the case for us. The shower wand was coming off of the wall and sent water flying all over. The tap on the sink also needed to be replaced as it too was not working properly. The toilet also needed some upkeep as the top would almost come right off when flushing. Avoid room 142.

Nice hotel, good location, mediocre breakfast

The hotel and staff were very nice. It was a bit warm for our liking but not unbearable, and the water pressure was very intense in the shower, but otherwise the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was nice as well.

- Noisy hotel with rooms close to the restaurant on the first floor and concerts right across the street in the park. - No late checkout option, even if you ask for just 20 minutes past the time. - An aggressive receptionist lady dashed towards me when I tried to take her picture to communicate it to the hotel management about bad service. She actually touched me forcefully trying to block my camera. This is the last thing I was expecting from the hotel on my vacation, to be touched in a forceful manner by the receptionist. I actually have a photo of the receptionists dashing toward me. Not posting it here for security reasons, but forwarded it to hotel management. - A cheap approach to guests, you can't take muffins with you on the excursion when you leave at 7 am in the morning. Even though I paid for my breakfast they say 'you can't take the food outside'. - I booked one room (with the picture showing a working space where I can use my computer), and received another one with a minuscule 1/4 of the table that can't even accommodate elbows. I traveled extensively around the world and never had experience like this. anything like this. Not sure what is it - general dislike towards foreigners or just very bad services. In any case, can hardly recommend anyone to stay there.

First the positive. Easy access to Center of city. Service wss very good. Place was clean. Negative: small room. Water pressure was all over the place it would change pressure from a little stream to full blast. The temperature of the water was cold or burning hot. Breakfast was bread and ham .

Dissappointing

Simple, clean rooms. Nice hot shower and water pressure. Very close to the city center and a wonderful breakfast.

Great Hotel a block from the main tourist avenue and only a short walk to the lake. The hotel staff was very helpful. The European-type breakfast was just fine.

Staff was friendly; hotel is well located on a quite street one block from the main street, where all the shops and eateries are located. Room was spacious, on the ground floor, clean. Bed was comfortable. Decent breakfast.

Very worn hotel. Carpets have not been replaced in years and were very worn down and not real clean. Beds not super comfortable. Hotel front desk staff was very nice which was a plus and the breakfast was typical Argentinian, nothing fancy. If they would invest in new carpeting it could greatly help give the place a better feel. Great location though.

El Calafate is a great location. The hotel is in the centre, nice location.

The staff was great. Belem, the front desk receptionist helps us to check in before the time we suppose to be in the hotel. I really like the location of the hotel. Walkable. Everything was between two or 3 blocks distance.

Very nice helpful staff. Great location near the main street. If you are planning to travel most of the day this hotel provides everything you need

Booked 2 rooms. Arrived very late. Had to pound on door for receptionist to wake up and let us in. Proceeded to take almost 40 minutes to check us in. Refused late check out. We arrived 4am- really??? Couldn’t give us a little extra time??? Was not even open to it On top now our bill is messed up- overcharging what we booked they Expedia so now more time needed to spend fixing their mistake

Our arrival at the hotel was terrific with friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early and were given an early check in once the room was ready. The bed was very comfortable (and huge!) and the location was great.

Staff Incredibly welcoming! Worn out carpets, etc Breakfast typical- ok Place was still cozy and all we needed for one night stay Slept well although could hear neighbors a little Can’t rate this 5 star but still nice and would still stay again

The staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and also warm which was important after a day of marching around ice. There was pleasantly of hot water and the pressure was fantastic. Bar is 24 hours. I can't find a single thing to critique! 295/10 would return

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was small but clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. The lobby area is a little dated but fine, the hotel is very near the Main Street and is perfect for people who don't have a car and are just in Calafate for a couple of days to visit the glacier. If you are looking for a good base at a reasonable price this is an excellent option.

This hotel is not fancy at all, but people trying to help you in everything you need.

It’s a fairly basic hotel with no frills. However if you want a clean room and a breakfast it’s fine. The rooms however were roasting hot and we spent every night with the window open which meant putting up with very noisy traffic.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Basic comforts and breakfast was fair. Great location for walking around town and to awesome restaurants. Touring the glaciers was a must unforgettable experience. There are beautiful roses in the front and in the room to greet you.

Close to downtown, cozy boutique hotel, clean basic rooms which were quite small, no air conditioning, continental breakfast, friendly staff.
