Lovely blend of old and new in the centre of historic Vegueta surrounded by good restaurants. Friendly service, great breakfast. Loved the sunny roof terrace with view of the cathedral, plunge pool, loungers and honesty bar. Recommend an exterior room.

I have been fortunate enough to have stayed in many wonderful hotels over the years - and there is little doubt that this is among them, and particularly for a personal (and not a business related) stay. Firstly, its location is magnificent - centred in the old town on a beautiful, quiet street and within a couple of minutes’ walking distance from everything you need. Second, the staff could not have been more helpful or agreeable - every single one of them (including the cab driver, Alex, who picked us up and dropped us off to the airport, and although he was not among the staff, it was arranged by the hotel) was exceptional - and hotel owner Alexandra also gave us marvellous recommendations for places to go and see and around the island as well. Third, the design of the place was beautiful. Contemporary, classic and spotless, it was so stylish and superbly maintained. We had a fantastic room overlooking the street with a small balcony. The rooftop area where breakfast is taken each morning was an oasis in itself - and the breakfast was just delicious. I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more, frankly - and we fully intend to return (and to persuade Alexandra to open some more hotels in our other favourite locations elsewhere!).

We had a lovely stay at the Veintiuno for a couple of nights. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable. Every member of the staff was efficient, personable and went out of their way to be helpful. The property gave us the feeling that we were staying at a friend's large home. It's a unique place to stay and I'm happy to recommend it.

Wonderful boutique hotel.in a perfect location in Las Palmas old town of Vegueta. Gret rooms, decor and rooftop terrace. Amazing view from pool. Breakfast included was just incredible. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back!

This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed. Everyone from Front desk and the Breakfast room is so wonderful. Every thing is so perfect. Super helpful. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location and friendly staff!

Beautifully renovated small boutique hotel. We received a warm welcome and were given recommendations for local bars and restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the roof top dining area was a lovely place to enjoy some very enjoyable freshly cooked food for breakfast, The pool area is small but fine for a dip to cool down and is handily located next to an honesty bar with crisp cold Chardonnay chilling in the fridge. We cannot find fault with this well run establishment

We stayed for 6 nights and had an amazing stay. Fabulous location and room was tastefully decorated with a modern large walk in shower staff really helpful and we loved the roof terrace and the honesty bar. Although hotel next to the cathedral it was peaceful surrounded by good bars and restaurants. Cost on average 7 euros to get a taxi to the sandy beach with again a lovely promenade and restaurants and lots going on - definitely recommend this surpasses all expectations and lived up to previous reviews

Super-friendly staff, nice and modern rooms, a great rooftop terrace and an a la carte breakfast. Top that with easy access to/from the highway, and (short) walking distance to nice bars, restaurants and POI’s.

Lovely hotel in a quiet but very convenient location. We came to relax for a week to reset and we managed just that. But I cannot praise the staff and owners enough for making us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Alex and Paco made us feel like we were friends staying in their home and they were always happy to recommend where to visit and, importantly, where to eat great food. I love what they are doing.

We have had a very good stay. The hotel is newly renovated with very good taste. Add to that a good location, a good breakfast, a very friendly staff and you have a very good and affordable hotel.

Very nice hotel, its well located in the historic part of the center. Staff ware friendly and service minded. Definitely the best rooftop in the area and the breakfast was super tasty! The only thing we ware disappointed about is the fact that in the Hotels.com advertisement, it does not say that they have windowless rooms. Our friends that stayed one night in the hotel did not have a window outside at all. Me and my partner who had another room, (staying 4 nights) only had one small window to the outside, which was facing the backside wall of another building - so we did not get much light to the room. There was one bigger window in the room also, but this was only to the inside hallway of the hotel. We spoke with the hotel about this and they said the hotel was full. So they could not accommodate our wish to have a window. I think the hotel should be more clear about the window situation on its Hotels.com website as it’s a bit misleading currently. We had a great stay anyways!

The tasteful décor and positevely lovely staff made for a very homely stay, while the bar and pool on the top floor terrace offered a very relaxed and romantic atmosphere. All in all, it made our last night on the island perfect! The hotel benefits from a perfect position for those who want to explore the old town of Las Palmas (the Canarian Museum and Columbus house are both a short walk away, with the cathedral literally accross the square). Cafes and restaurants are a short walk away.

This hotel was such an incredible breath of fresh air. The rooms were beautiful, the included breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is situated in a very walkable and picturesque part of town. I will definitely be back.

The Veintiuno is the place to be! In the middle of the old town of Las Palmas is this new boutique hotel a fantastic location. Great design, spectacular roof top and fantastic service. Alexandra, Paco and the whole team gives you the feeling of being home.

We LOVED Veintiuno hotel! It is set in the old part of the city within the quaint streets with museums and restaurants nearby. The owners Alexandra & Paco are lovely friendly people who welcome you wholeheartedly to their gorgeous little hotel. All the staff are wonderful and are always smiling & helpful. Our room was comfortable & peaceful and very clean. The whole hotel was spotless! The roof terrace is the icing on the cake - overlooked by the cathedral & such a great place to have a cup of tea & read a book. We stayed a week and tried every single delicious thing on the breakfast menu. On the weekend you can take breakfast in the sunshine on the roof which was fantastic. We really loved Veintiuno as it was located in the old part of the city and close to attractions such as the cathedral. The hotel itself was lovely; tastefully decorated, quiet we particularly liked the rooftop terrace and pool.

It is unique in its location and the way a historical building can be used as a high quality hotel. Overall the stay was excellent and the food at breakfast was outstanding. But there were a few omissions - not easy to get a drink, whether alcohol or coffee or tea - the beautiful rooftop bar (a local attraction) was only open at weekends. In the room you would have to be comfortable with sharing - washbasin in the room, toilet and shower behind a glass partition. And there were no tissues! There was limited storage in the room - open hanging rail and a few drawers. Staff were very helpful but there were not many of them - the receptionist served breakfast as well.

We spent a delightful week in this stylish boutique hotel, situated in the pretty central Las Palmas Old Town location of peaceful & immaculately clean cobbled streets almost next to the Cathedral. Indeed, from the roof top bar with comfy sofas, loungers and a small plunge pool, the views of the cathedral are immediate. As people who never want to have to eat breakfast early, we really appreciated the relaxed approach of breakfast being served until 12 and also of being able to enjoy it on the rooftop bar at the weekend. Relaxed late breakfast is one of the joys of being on holiday but is so rarely offered. Moreover, we were so happy that it wasn’t buffet breakfast, which rarely offers freshly cooked dishes, since they often sit underheated for many hours after cooking. Instead, the talented and friendly chef cooked/prepared to order our choice from a sophisticated menu of 4 savoury and 4 sweet dishes, along with juice and unlimited and quality coffee. His home-made granola is particularly memorable. It was so refreshing to find that he uses quality ingredients for all dishes. Our room (#6) was large and airy with a supremely comfortable bed and was immaculately cleaned daily. We aren’t fans of the open plan bathroom and open clothes storage but these are becoming more common. Overall, the friendly, kind and very helpful personnel made our stay truly memorable. The charming owners could teach Customer Service best standards to the hotel industry. Thank you, Clare & Tony
