The host, Cindy, was delightful and extremely helpful. She helped with our luggage, gave an excellent recommendation for dinner, and was obviously proud of her Prince. We hope to return!

Prince Inn had a good location, within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. Easy parking in the rear. It's nice historic feel inn and the service was very good and friendly. Breakfast was very good with a hot food prepared for you, which changes daily (pancakes, omellete). We stayed for two nights visiting Charlottetown and would stay here again next time.

We were not aware that the property was under renovations. If you can get passed the rundown facade, the interior is as advertised. The cons: uncomfortable bed and pillows, bedsheets were not soft, breakfast from 8am-9am. Pros: The hostess, Cindy, was helpful and sweet, Walking distance to waterfront and restaurants, free parking

Breakfast setup was a bit awkward and the mattress was smaller than the bed. Other than that it’s a nice place.

Through no fault of the property management the guests in the room above us were very loud and “stomping” around their room late into the night. Loud laughter and tv prohibited restful nights for us. Perhaps the hosts of this lovely heritage inn could post a “Quiet Hours” reminder to deter such thoughtless behaviour.

This property was an excellent choice! Location is great...breakfast was awesome and staff(Cindy) were incredibly kind. Check-in was quick. Beds are excellent. Outside of building is NO reflection of what awaits you inside and it looks like they are doing some updating.
Lots of free parking too.
Only negative might be that if you can't do stairs there is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor but was not an issue for us.

Very well kept building. I enjoy staying at these old mansions. The bed was super comfortable and I would definitely stay here again if in there area.

We were on the 3rd floor in the Louis room. The stairs would be an issue for someone with mobility issues. There is a dormer in the room, which has to be avoided to enter the main part of the room. We were welcomed and provided and all the information we required about the facilities. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a hot option, fruit, cereal, etc. Everyone eats family style at a single table, which was very nice meeting the other guests. Many restaurants within easy walking distance (10 minutes) and the water front. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and enough space for car parking. Most of all, host of this facility was so kind and introduced tour courses based on my staying period even though I didn’t request of it. I will stay here again if I visit Charlottetown in the future. Strongly recommend here.

This property was unique- fun -with interesting decor - not what we expected- outside was under construction which we were unaware of - our host was very helpful & accommodating- breakfast was very nice with anything

Our host was so good! She provided a seamless check in and checkout, suggestions for our visit in the area & any additional questions/concerns we had.. felt very homey being here for our stay. The place is decorated beautifully, breakfast served in the morning was delicious & the other guests were very friendly too. Quite honestly I think this was the best inn that I’ve ever stayed at & if I head back to Charlottetown in the future, this is where I will be staying again. Thank you so much!!

A beautiful historic building, decorated elegantly, clean and comfortable, great location for walking to waterfront and main sights, good breakfast. Staff Cindy and Lucy are super nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

Overall, no real complaints. Owners are very nice people. We booked well in advance and there may have been a change in ownership in the last year or so. Older photos online may not be entirely accurate. The building is very old and has lots of character. However, it does need a lot of maintenance work. Breakfast is continental, not a la carte. Bed was comfortable. Rating 3/5 is fair I think.

Staying here takes you back to the Victorian age but with contemporary comforts. The breakfast includes pastries, fruit, and eggs to order, and the rooms are beautiful. The shower works wonderfully and the beds are especially comfy! And they have AC units in every room! Would love to come back! Also very walkable to all of downtown Charlottetown.

My stay was wonderful! Cindy and her staff were very accommodating. They were very personable, which was a welcome difference from the Big chain hotels.

The room was small but clean with very nice amenities in the bathroom. The host is nice and gave us a plethora of information about the island. We were unimpressed with the breakfast - she offered to make eggs and did one for each the first day. If you didn't want eggs, too bad.... there was nothing else offered. In addition there was some sliced yellow cheese and a few pieces of cold cuts. The cream cheese was in a large container with every guest sharing it...No plain yogurt, but fruits offered were good.

Charachter home converted to inn. Lots of stairs if you get the attic, which we did. Close to all the sights, walkable 4 block area. Nice hostess.
