Overnight business stay

Booked a 1 night stay in a Deluxe Double Room. To begin with, we had an issue with the Iron provided in the room as the plug wasn't functional with wiring exposed, which looked like a safety hazard. A replacement was requested which took around 45 minuted to be provided.
We had also ordered a bucket of ice to cool our drinks as there was no fridge, but after an hour of waiting this never arrived.
Although the residents bar on the first floor was busy, the service was particularly slow, having to wait over 30 minutes for our 2 drinks to be made.
We visited the Observatory Bar, at which point we were sat in the corner beside the window. We sat for around 20 minutes and nobody approached us within this time to take our order or ask if we needed anything else.
On a positive note, the bedroom was clean and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and welcoming when checking in.

Room lovely but very noisy guests who kept me us all night - stay and hens and lots of drunks .
Spoilt the stay on every level

Great location, great room but definitely doesn't have the feeling of a 5* hotel when I comes to service. Check in was functional rather than pleasant and massively understaffed in the Observatory so waited 25 mins before getting our order taken followed by getting hit with a 10% "service" charge. No heating in the room either, phoned reception 3 times before getting an answer but didn't really care so a cool night it was! Check out no more pleasant, a hasty "you're all paid up, thank you" and away you go. 5* prices, 3/4* service at best unfortunately

The shower head sprayed water and the door didn’t close completely.
The Observatory bar ran out of limes and didn’t cherries for drinks. The room charge function didn’t work in the bar.
The 1st floor breakfast wasn’t very creative.

I had 2 rooms booked and my room had a whining noise that made us get up and leave the room early as it was impossible to sleep in.
We did complain on checkout and an apology was made but I don’t think she realised how irritating that had been and how it had ruined an otherwise lovely experience.
I would like you to send me an email so I can send on video to show you how annoying that was for us.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Excellent staff and excellent location.

Had a lovely short break in the hotel. Bedroom was really good, bed comfortable, decor not brown. A bit of long term ceiling damage in the bathroom which should have been repaired.
Day 1 breakfast was great, day 2 was a disorganised mess. No glasses for orange juice, no milk for cereal, put at a table outside the main restaurant between 2 tables heaped with dirty dishes, had to ask for tea and coffee 3 times, asked for milk and waitress gave another table milk when I asked first, was told that they were short staffed. Well they should have pulled people in from other areas. The queue waiting to be seated was ridiculous. Very disappointed.

I booked the hotel for my wife’s 60 th birthday and our wedding anniversary. When we arrived the receptionist upgraded our room and was very helpful explaining what the hotel had to offer . Nothing was too much bother . We had a meal in the restaurant cocktails on the top floor and breakfast. Everything was fantastic

Great location, super helpful staff, would definitely return!

Very nice hotel in the center of Belfast. The bus from Dublin dropped us off two blocks from the hotel, which was also very convenient to several great restaurants and pubs. The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. My only gripe (kind of a pet peeve that I see a lot in Europe) is that there is no “blanket option” on the bed. It’s either just a top sheet (so glad they had that!) or a comforter, which is way too hot for me. Personal problem, I guess.

The food service in the restaurant was horrible. While the fodd was very good and the restaurant are was nice the service was almost nonexistent. After being seated we waited about 10 to 15 minutes and finally had to flag someone down to take our orders , we had to ask for water 3 times, they got my wifes order wrong, we had to ask for bread twice and then they charged us fo 2 servings, no one ever came by on thier own we always had to get someones attention, then it took another lengthy wait just to pay the bill. The overall stay at the hotel was very good and the service, other than the restaurant was excellent.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade as it was my friends birthday. The room was very luxurious.

The hotel was impressive but lacked character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on the seventeenth floor and found the lifts to be frustrating - we would press the button to call them and one lift would move in our direction only to go to another floor while the other lifts remained immobile.

Property & staff very good. Unfortunately we were told the Seahorse restaurant was fully booked. However we later were told that it was only open on Friday &. Saturday. Had I known at the time of booking the hotel, that the Seahorse restaurant was not open on the Thursday evening, I may not have stayed in the hotel

Amazing hotel! Definitely will stay again next time I am in Belfast.

The front desk checkin was great, but after that it all went a bit down hill in the top floor bar. The staff were totally unprepared and uncoordinated. The drinks we ordered twice were changed as there wasn’t any left… for the “premier” place to stay not having a basic scotch like Macallan is pretty poor… then having finally chosen drinks available they arrived 25mins later.

Dusty specs all over the bedroom , mirror , lampshades and a few dust balls on wall.

I left my ring in the room, and it was returned to me safely after I came back after 3 hours.

The property was wonderful. Rory was pleasant during our checkin process and Alex was helpful when we left.

Great breakfasts and rooms with great views!

No reason why they won’t let you book in early when it’s available. They knew I was waiting from 9:30 and let me sit there. This is the kind of service that makes me go elsewhere - even the Europa is better.

Observatory was unique , a visit here at the end of the night was always compulsory !!
