Hotel was nice. Rooms in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great city centre location.
Biggest issue was around external noise. The Celtic Corner bar across the road do Karaoke until 2am every night. Not sure if anything could be done to better soundproof the rooms.
Besides that, nice stay.

Could do with some TLC

Dust was everywhere
There were not enough towels, 1 towel to 4 people(

The room did NOT hace curtain at top half of the window-plane wall and UNABLE to undress and change naked as other flats from higher oppisite building can see you in your room.
Heater from the wall came off and laid on floor as faulty and unable to heat the room as it is getting cold at night.
Tap in the sink in Small and Kettle was NOT fit in to get water and make a coffee.

The Caron did not fit the windows and there was black mould on the ceiling and shower head and one of The three beds were repaired by putting I wooden bored across it where the slated have gone hawere it was very well priced and my friends didn’t have the same complaints about their room. I do think we got a bit lucky but for £50 bewtwen 3 people it was good value just needs to be a bit cleaner

On the plus side, the location is great, close to the city centre and touristic attractions, Lime Street station, university, though the surroundings are a bit noisy. The personnel is also very friendly. The hotel itself is quite basic, very small room and bathroom (microscopic sink and nowhere to put stuff), incomplete shades, not very clean (e.g. lots of suspicious stains on the walls around the toilet).

The lady on reception provided a good welcome and gave us some helpful information. Our twin room was very small and did not have many amenities in the way of storage. There was no wardrobe, bedside drawers or table and chair. There was also no mirror in the room, except a small bathroom mirror which meant it was difficult to get ready and do hair after a shower. The room had vertical blinds up at the window but we couldn’t see a working cord to open them. The windows above had no window covering so all the light streamed straight in all night and the tall building across the road could see straight into the bedroom. The floors felt grubby, unhoovered and unmopped. The beds looked like they needed replacing as the mattress was sagging and headboard looked dirty. The bathroom was tiny, no toilet roll holder, no bin in the toilet, no cupboard or shelf to put any toiletries. Very basic and was pleased to check out the next day.

Well positioned in the center of Liverpool, you pay for what you get. Room/bedding/towels where stained and had hairs on. Music on till around 4am in surrounding area to be expected

Very central, close to everything but far enough away from the club's

Extremely convenient for the train station. Staff were great.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They let me down at the very last minute, cancelling the booking that I had made months before. It cost me considerably more to find an alternative at such late notice. A terrible way to treat people.
There was a Liverpool game on that day, so I suspect they gave my room to their mates or maybe reallised hey could get more for it.

The hotel was lovely, clean, modern and comfortable.
Ellie on reception was so lovely, very helpful and bent over backwards for the customers!

Clean and centrally located. < 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station and 15 to Albert Docks. Staff was super friendly.
Minor issues- there is a nightclub right next door, so if you are a light sleeper, beware. The shower door would not fully close and I just lived with it because I was afraid I would break it if I pulled on it too hard 😀

Great comfortable bed, lots of towels and spot on cleanliness. Friendly staff. Close enough to Lime Street Station and other attractions.

We stayed here for one night on 15th Dec 2023. The hotel is great for the price and the room was spacious. The only thing we found tough was that the bathroom was too tiny. The washing basin is really tiny and the water heater was not functioning well.

A cheap and basic hotel in the heart of the city centre! Tiny basic comfortable room. Rebecca at the front desk was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and polite!

Dodgy electrical sockets, lack of pillows and towels, kettle had to placed on floor to use it. Room was booked for 3 but only had condiments for 2. Flooring in halls had gaps between the laminate panels. Very noisy residents.

Very basic, would not stay again . Very small bathroom . Floor dirty, my feet were dirty walking around bare footed.

We were not impressed the room was like a box , bleach hit you straight away , asked for refunded , policy is to go through you or email the hotels boss , so asked could we change room , and had to pay a further £90 , SO £117 .50 plus £90 , for smell of bleach , nowhere to put anything in bathroom , no side tables , have stayed in liverpool , quite a lot , , very disappointed with all of basic rooms , dont think we stay there again .

Disappointing, Have stayed here before so wasn't expecting a poor stay but this wasn't good,
The room was dirty, tatty, broken window glass, it was very very noisy, The bed was tiny and worn out. No drinking water in the room. Will stay somewhere else next time

staff were very helpful and polite, rooms(stayed 2 nights in seperate rooms) were very clean, very small but comfortable.room i had for my second night however, had no signal which made tv impossible.after leaving an item in my room after my first night, the staff were very helpful and efficient in getting the item back for me.all in all,a pleasant stay, have stayed here before, and will again in future,no doubt.🙂

Smallest room ever, without a proper mirror, everything looked scruffy. Part of the room got flooded in the middle of the night (from the bathroom? A room above? No idea!) Once I cleaned it, it didn’t flood again. The area outside is not the most pleasant in the evening, very loud and you can hear everything in your room. Part of the window was broken - it looked like smashed from outside (single glazing still remaining).
The bed was ok though and people at the reception were nice. Located centrally so easy to walk everywhere.

Used it for a stag party weekend. I mean the room size was ok but to have the room kettle on the window seemed dangerous. There was stains in the toilet when we arrived so clearly not cleaned very well. The bedding was very/heavy and weighted, which wasn’t needed when it was so warm outside and inside the room. No air con and the windows didn’t open wide so no air flow coming in. We stayed in room 4 and you need a masters to find it,….. expect to find a maze of corridors. I think we paid £149, which don’t get me wrong it was cheaper than the big chains but still expensive for what it is. Probably wouldn’t use it again if I’m honest.

This was my third time of staying at Brownlows and it was o.k. Had a problem with the t.v. which the receptionist tried to resolve. I could only get I Player!
A small chair in the room would have helped but otherwise all was good. Great being able to leave my luggage for a few hours after I checked out...
