Booked again since we were overly impressed when we stayed here last year.
Proprietors are ever so polite, friendly and accommodating.
Full Scottish breakfast with cereals, yoghurts, toast, fruit, tea and coffee in abundance.
Clean room with comfy bed has tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits and bottled water complimentary each day.
Cannot recommend highly enough... we shall return.

We had a lovely 1 night stay at Scotia. The hosts were lovely and super friendly! The room and bathroom were a good size,the bed was very comfy and there were biscuits,2 bottles of water,tea/coffee/hot chocolate and even some homemade tablet which was delicious! There were lots to choose from at breakfast,a full cooked breakfast and then yogurt,fruits,cereals. Breakfast was very tasty! The location was close to the city centre where there were a number of restaurants,the hosts had a map with some food recommendations on which was really handy and we went to the Thai restaurant because of this and weren't disappointed. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Made very welcome by the hosts. Loved the wee extras, fudge, tasted delicious 😋. Quiet and comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast excellent. Would stay here again.

Would definitely come back to stay at Scotia B&B. Tracey was very helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Catered for our dietary requirements and offered recommendations for local bars and restaurants.
Room was clean, cosy and comfortable. On-site parking also an added bonus.

Susie made us feel really welcome during our two day stay. We had a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, as well as the use of a communal lounge with a tv, fridge, microwave, kettle and crockery. The whole house was clean, fresh and nicely decorated. Breakfast, cooked by and served by Susie, was lovely, we chose a cooked breakfast both mornings and also had toast, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice, all available on our table. We highly recommend a stay here.

Bit disappointed with the parking situation we went out for a half hour down the town and when we got back someone had taken the space which was okay but someone else had parked there care at an angle in the bay and i found it was very difficult for to get past there car and an iron fence at night but other than that it’s a good BandB

Warm and welcoming. Bedroom was good size, clean and warm. Our room was at the back so nice and quiet.
Breakfast was amazing. Location ideal for shops, city centre and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again and definitely recommend.

Very good value B&B for the August B/H weekend. The hosts were willing to do an early 7am breakfast, very useful for hill-walkers.

Good location and accessible to town. The breakfast was excellent and good room facilities with not only tea and coffee facilities but bottle water and some homemade tablet which was a nice touch. The owners were very friendly and helpful and Molly, our dog, couldn't have been made more welcome. The only problem for me was the bed as the mattress was far too firm so uncomfortable for me, but it but might be fine for others. I would recommend this accommodation and it was very reasonable priced.
