Lovely property and clean and convenient to lots of restaurants, pubs. The overall best thing about the hotel are the staff. Friendly, pleasant and helpful Highly recommend

Had a nice few days here. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Hotel clean but room cleaned service practically non existent..A few characters seemed to be on the lobby constantly which I found a bit odd I don't even think they were staying there. Breakfast was fine. The staff customer service was excellent...

We didn’t feel safe entering and leaving the property with the amount of rough looking people lurking all up and down the street in front of the hotel. Parking was inconvenient as well.

Stay was 100percent from start to finish booked in by andy gentleman he was explained everything to a t all staff from management to housekeepers well mannered and helpful room was clean and well equiped even a ironboard and iron bed was great we had a great nights sleep we will be back at sometime in the future

Lovely new hotel with super room

First of all I had a really great experience with the front desk staff and a special shout out to Louis taking care of us at dinner, he went so above and beyond and was amazing! The area outside the hotel we did not feel super safe in. And at around 2 am we had someone violently kick out hotel room door which was very scary and unnerving for us. We were on edge the rest of the night/morning

staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good and Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Karen was awesome and went out of her way to make our family feel welcome. It’s walkable to all the major sites in Londonderry and breakfast was great!

Stayed with my mum for 3 days, our first impression was of the staff, extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The front desk, dining area and bar were modern, clean and lively. The bedroom (double room) was bright, clean and convenient, not to mention i took extra privleges with the free coffee and drank to my heart's content. The food was good, we ate breakfast both morning's and they had a wide range of foods, from hot to cold and even fresh fruit and breakfast desserts. We are planning another trip to Londonderry and will definitely be booking with the Holiday Inn. Our whole experience was great.

I really liked that Holiday Inn Express was conveniently located within easy access to all the sights and attractions that we wanted to see in Londonderry. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, the parking was pricey and inconvenient. Once our car was parked, it was inaccessible after 7 pm. I’m addition the charge for parking was pricey. The park was 24 sterling british pounds which is roughly $50-60 Canadian dollars after being discounted by Holiday Inn Express. It would be better value to have the hotel absorb parking as we already paid $632 Canadian for 2 nights. In addition, the hotel was not quiet. Not only was there a scaffold right outside our window (12 inches away), the construction workers were on site at the same level as the window for 7:30 am. As well, there was a sound all night long, that can only be described as a sewage treatment centre in our ceiling. It sounded like toilets flushing beside our ear which affected a sound night sleep.

Although clean, you can tell maintenance and customer service are not top priorities. Near points of interest, but area around is sketchy.

We had a great experience at the HIE! We had a party of 7 and stayed there 3 nights. Everything was very good, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. The best part, though, were the people. Luis and Karen at the bar/reception desk area were so nice and helpful, WAY above what you would normally expect. They were so pleasant to talk to and were incredibly attentive. We really enjoyed talking with them. That said the whole staff (I just don't remember all their names) were really great overall. Thank you!

Sound-proofing qualities of rooms was terrible. Street noise all night long, along with the snores from adjacent room.

The hotel is fine unless you’re driving. There’s no place to pull in unless you illegally block a bus lane. Given local traffic it was a nightmare! There’s also no hotel parking. The room was nice but carpet could use cleaning. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made up for the car problems.
