good location cheapest we found in the area and suited us for what we wanted on a 1 night stay away and had a good breakfast included in the price …. the 2 guys that ran it were very friendly and helpful and had a very early check in which was fantastic for us

unfortunately it was very tired, 70s/80s decor the side draw had lots of bits of tobacco inside and the cleanliness of Towels was much to be desired but overall it suited us for what we wanted, the room we had was small although really you pay for the location not the room, money needs to be spent on improvements and I’d be happy paying £75 just for the room, then extra for the good breakfast, but in my opinion it was only worth £50 with the breakfast included, we paid £75 overall £25 to much, but again with improvements and with the location could be a gold mine done right

Brilliant breakfast and helpful staff

We were all, even our dog, made to feel welcome and at home the moment we arrived by Gez the owner. We were in a road not far from town and the beaches, so a very convenient location, with free parking. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, the twin beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good each morning, plenty to eat and even a sausage for our dog! John who was serving us was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay immensely, many thanks to Gez and John.

The shower was a little difficult to use and strike the right temperature, but we think it was us not being used to it maybe, rather than a problem with the shower...this is not a complaint, just a query.

Jez and John were so friendly considering jez recently losing his wife,I can't imagine how upset he was and still running a business. John could do no more in terms of serving breakfast with a smile and jez cooking was just what we needed each morning! It's a doggy hotel so u have to accept a bit of wet dog smells but we are used to it and len loved it.

You get what u pay for .. its a 3 star hotel that accepts dogs, it was a great stay... maybe just a bit more cleaning in the bathroom
