location - peaceful and beautiful view from the villas and main pool. also close to a few shops and restaurants by walking. outdoors of the hotel are well maintained and pretty.

Hotel interior design is terrible. Seems as if its trying to look luxurious, but in fact its far from it. floors and tiles are cheep and damaged. Everything looks old fashioned and dated. we stayed at the Romance Vila and the private pool was dirty and deck needs serious refurbishing. Door of the room doesn't close all the way and leaves a creek for all bugs to come in. The lobby is really small, and designed in an awful manner that makes checking in and out a disturbing experience, instead of welcoming and enjoyable. Breakfast indoor area is ugly, and feels like a school cafeteria. food is presented in a cheep and un tempting manner and also tastes bad. you cant get around in the compound without a golf cart, and it can take up to half an hour for someone to pick you up! absolutely frustrating. we traveled Thailand for 2 weeks and this was the most expensive yet most disappointing hotel we stayed at. Honestly feels like a total scam! Do not recommend at all.

The facility itself is amazing. staff are helpful and always positive attitude.

Far away from the airport

It was my honeymoon and I had the Seaview Pool Villa Romance with private pool. It was worth choosing the shore. Amazing location and amazing view to the beach. The room was so amazing and the good part that it has speakers all over the place so you can play music while you are laying day on the pool.

needs more TV sport channels for the Saudi League. This is easy and matters a lot.

don't know why eveyday the phone in the room will ring for once, and when we pick it up there is no one speaks on the another side. it's not a big issue, however it's getting a bit weird and annoying once it rings at 6:30 in the morning...

Awesome location. Beautiful villas with private pools. Was worth booking the Seaview category. The buggy drivers were cheerful, funny and professional.

Restaurant and pool staff needs to be trained better. They never ask themselves if we want to order coffee or drinks. Lack of smiling. The facility is understaffed, and therefore it takes longer to receive the order. Not enough sunbeds in the pool area. To have to lie on the grass in a 5-start-property is not acceptable. A bit overpriced for what you get.

Privacy, breakfast was wonderful, great service and personal very friendly and helpful.

The wash amenities are really not good. Sorry. Please get name brand products. Mattress is little too firm.

The room was PERFECT! The sea view, the infinity pool and the gym...omg the gym was SUPER cool, with a perfect view and good range of equipment. We were able to stay in the hotel until mid day as we had a late flight. Floating breakfast is a MUST if you staying in the private pool villas.

The check in was a bit confusing, we were waiting for about 20 minutes in reception until they say our room was not ready, when we got back the room still took another 15 minutes (well worthy thou! they gave a nice touch to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and gave us complimentary drink for waiting.

Breakfast was sufficient and available until 11am which was excellent. Location of pool and beach could not be better. Also the Gym, which i use regularely was sufficiently equipped.

The romance rooms are wonderful. We were there for our honeymoon and the room itself exceeded expectations. We could just lounge there all day if we’d have wanted! They’re spacious and so well placed with the infinity pool overlooking the beach and sea. I can imagine they’re not as nice if you don’t opt for the Romance rooms though as the view and pool is what makes it so special.

Lack of attentiveness from the staff, for the price paid, we expected more of a proactive nature from the staff but it felt as though most things were a chore for them and the response rate was very slow. Lack of structure at breakfast meant rather than having a designated waiter, many staff would ask you the same thing and get confused with drinks orders, which were also very slow to arrive. We’d finish breakfast before our coffee arrived. However, we did book the special romance dinner at kissing point and the staff there were incredible. Arno and Oliver made our evening one to remember and it was definitely worth the cost. The only thing to note is the food would often be quite cold as it’s cooked outside but I think that’s just part of the way it has to be prepared.

Everyone was lovely & accommodating. Our pool wasn't able to get heated so we were upgraded to seaview villa which was very generous of them. Our villa also had 2 separate aircons which allowed us to individually control the temp for each side of the room.

The view, room facilities, staff kindness. The thing i mostly like that because our room wasn't ready at time of checking in, the reception lady gave us an apology of a coupon of free dinner set fot 2 people at their local resturant, that's was nice gesture that i like.

The beach was not private to the resort, no much of activites that you can do in comparision of other resort at same price, the SPA was fully booked for the whole day.

Myself and my husband stayed here for our Honeymoon. It was amazing. We had a sea view in love villa which was extremely luxurious. The view was breathtaking, room was spacious, we couldn't fault a thing. The Shore has private access to a lovely beach. The beach is very quiet where The Shore is situated as there are not many hotels near The Shore. Further up the beach you will find it is a little more crowded (however, comparing this to patong or Karon it is extremely quiet). During our stay my husband got food poising on a day trip (not organised or attached to The Shore) and I can't thank the staff enough for how kind and caring they were towards him and us both. They organised a doctor to come to our room in the early hours of the morning, cooked and provided him food without charge that wasn't on their menu which the doctor recommended he eat. Their service was outstanding. Overall, the facilities were amazing - breakfast was delicious!. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay outside of the busy tourist areas. It is only a short taxi or tuk tuk ride to patong if you wanted to visit.
