Loved both Nafplio & the Hotel Agamemnon. Beautiful room, incredible view. Great breakfast. Very relaxing. Looking forward to a return visit.

I paid for an sea view room on hotels.com, which was about 20 euros more each night. When i checked in i got barly a partial view of the sea. Our travel companion who did not pay for sea view got a room with much better view. Hotel personnel were very rude and said it was no guarantee. So don't pay extra for a view! Also the property advertised on their website as beachfront. There is no beach! Definitely false advertising.

The hotel is located on the promenade and therefore you are conveniently positioned in the middle of everything! Our family had 3 rooms - one of them facing the bay with Nafplion's spectacular scenery. The breakfast options were not so great as compared to most hotels in Greece these days, but everything else was so good...it didn't matter. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel’s position on the water front is exceptional. It’s modern, staff are friendly and helpful. On the second floor, although the hotel is surrounded by cafes etc. with the windows closed there is no noise. Room 203. Parking in this busy city is the only issue. Great stay!!

Traveled with 3 adults. The beds were all twin beds and the room was clean. the staff was excellent and dinner at the hotel was fantastic. The best tabbouleh salad I had ever had!

The hotel Agamemnon is great. The staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Rooms are comfortable, big and clean. It is situated in the very center of Nafplio and the port so all the bars restaurants clubs shops are very close. I recommend it undoubtedly.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Surrounded by tavernas, easy access to Port parking and the wonderful Fortress of Palimini.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was situated in a convenient place, clean, with good breakfast and kind personnel. (We knew the room had no view. We did not know that the shower cabinet would be so small we could hardly use. Certainly not usable by plus sized persons)

Great location and excellent view. This was sold as "partial seaview", but the view from the room could not be better. We were puzzled by the "Bed sheets not available" statement, but we did find sheets on our beds.

Clean and nice refurbished room. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed on a daily basis. The overall building was slightly old but maintained cleaned. The breakfast was very basic.

Very well located, clean, with a great view of the sea. Parking is free in Nafplio, although busy it was relatively easy to find a couple of blocks away. We stayed there 3 nights. Nafplio is amazing and a good base to go to Epidavros, Micenes, Argos and other sites. Lost my wallet and the hotel staff called the police. The next day the police called the hotel to let us know someone had found and it was in the police station. We picked up later that morning with all it’s contents intact.

The Agamemnon Hotel is located right on the waterfront of Nafplio, adjacent to an outdoor patio restaurant/bar scene. Despite that I heard no noise in my room and slept comfortably. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fine. Nafplio proved a good base for an evening at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (c. 30 min drive). The town itself is largely pedestrianized and provides a lively evening atmosphere for post-show unwinding. The trade-off with a central hotel location is a very competitive parking regime. One has to be a little lucky to park close to the Agamemnon. Alternatively, there is a large car park on the other side of the harbour, a 10-15 min walk.
