This property was fantastic . great host,, great been able to have dogs with us , close to beach. facilities perfect, could not ask for more. My 92 year old mother could not stop commenting on our nice it was.

We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. The house had everything we needed (including little touches like milk) and was close to the beach and Oakura shops. A lovely house in a beautiful spot. We can't wait to go back!

We had a magical family stay at this place. We travelled here to celebrate a granddaughters 1st birthday. We had the Grandparents, Auntie & Uncle & 2 teen cousins, plus dog staying. The home is awesome, so spacious, sunny & a truly homely feeling. It is so well equipped & supplied - the kitchen is so completely equipped, it was a delight. Everyone enjoyed their stay & I absolutely recommend to future travellers. Really appreciate also that dogs are allowed. Impressed to the max. Not a single fault. Huge thanks to the owner/manager. It was evident that Shelley takes great care in maintaining the property to a high standard. The proximity to the beach was a major highlight of our stay. Within a short stroll, we were treated to stunning coastal views and the soothing sound of waves crashing. It created a serene environment that allowed us to unwind and embrace the natural beauty of the surroundings. In terms of convenience, the house's location was ideal. Nearby shops made it easy for us to access any essentials we needed, and the short 13-minute drive to New Plymouth city allowed us to explore the area's attractions without any hassle. Shelley, our host, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction during our stay. Her warm and welcoming nature made us feel like valued guests, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. In summary, Shelley's house is a perfect choice for a tranquil beach retreat. With its inviting atmosphere, cleanliness, convenient location, and gracious host, our stay was a memorable one.

Well appointed home. Sunny, spacious open plan living and very tidy. Lovely outdoor area. Very close to the beach. We enjoyed our early morning walks before heading to WOMAD. Wish we had more time available to us to enjoy the home environment. The host Shelley was easy to communicate with. We hope to return one day.

Great family home to use , plenty of room to sit and relax and a great out door flow for meals and enjoying the sunset. Walking distance to the beach, above all expectations !! Also one of the best burger restaurants in the Country a short walk , and fabulous morning coffee from local coffee shop. Definitely visit again

Absolutely loved staying in this home we were lucky enough to grab it at last minute. I honestly don't think you could not find somthing in this home. Board games full kitchen. And such a beautiful clean home. Shelley herself is such a kind lovely women highly recommend to all. I'll be sad to leave

Great location. 5 min walk to the beach. House had everything you need for a family holiday. Clean and lovingly presented. Would definitely stay there again.

We wrote to the Vrbo site stating that as no confirmation had been received we had made other arranegments. At no stage have we been able to access an Account with the site provider as we are consistently told that our PIN is incorrect and if we try to set up a new account we are told our pin is too weak even when we accept the PIN provided by Vrbo.. Please help us sort this mess out. We can't send this note without giving a mark to eack of the above questions. Suzee and Greg Whitten

A lovely property. Really well kept. We would definitely recommend this property. Great location to the beach.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. We were a group of 8 and each of us were impressed with this roomy, warm and very comfortable house. I was able to get around in my wheelchair with no obstacles, we cooked up a few memorable meals in the well equipped kitchen and to top it off, our dog had a blast !

We booked this place for a long weekend. It was just as described: a lovely, spacious house with everything you'd need for your stay. Great communication with the owner, who was very helpful and even let us check in early. Highly recommended.

Perfect break away with family to recharge batteries. Made the most of the sunny outdoor areas with the amazing weather and walking distance to the beach and park. Comfortable beds and everything we could possibly need.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean, tidy and spacious. The beds were really comfortable as were the couches. Was lovely to have milk and bubbles in the fridge on our arrival. Pleanty of outdoor seating and dining options with good umbrellas for shade. Great fenced area for our dog. Super close to beach and 4 square and eating out options. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at black sands. Great location for exploring the many beautiful attractions of Taranaki. Shelley was amazing!!!! Great to deal with and always prompt with responding to any queries. Very friendly. She went to great length to help us locate our laptop which we left behind.

This is a lovely property to stay in. It has everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay. Well set up close to the beach and shops.

Just perfect for what we needed

Gorgeous, light, spacious, clean and well presented house. Lovely enclosed outdoor area, great for summer BBQs and for kids to play safely in. Good webber BBQ. Large spa bath- fab for kids! Handy to beach and playground and restaurants. We were blessed with stunning hot sunny calm weather and had a dreamy time.

Couldn’t ask for a nice place to stay. Such a lovely relaxing home to be in away from home. All the thoughtful extra there were a real treat. Would highly recommended to anyone looking for home away from home.

Wonderful home, fantastic location, everything you would need for an awesome time in Taranaki, including the facilities and equipment and extras within the home. We had a wonderful relaxing time as a family with plenty of space for all.
