The kitchen area

Over the course of the time we were there, we found numerous problems. You should state the house is a current building site, that was a shock to us. We then spent a while trying to open the key box, for the cleaner to have to come over and let us in. Following on from this were the problems in the house- apple found on the sofa, bin and dishwasher full. Fridge and freezer full of things and unable to fit much in. The sofa bed would not pull out. There was plastic on the floor in the upstairs bedroom. As we were only given one key, the bedroom outside could not be locked and therefore my friends had to move all their possessions into the main house before going out. They also felt unsafe when sleeping out there as anyone could enter. When we got back to the apartment at about 2am it took us about 30 minutes to open the door as it is so stiff and difficult to use. All of things have left me feeling rather disappointed as it was my birthday weekend to celebrate with friends, and this was problem after problem.

I normally do not write a review on accommodation but the photos of this property provided by the host are nothing like it and caused inconvenience to my trip, had a few moments where I just wanted to book somewhere else at the last minute to spend the night. 1. The house was undergoing a renovation during my stay and I was not informed by the host AT ALL. Front door and back door area were a disaster filled with building tools and material. 2. Cleanliness. Every towels I found had hair on them. Bed sheets had dust and hair on them, definitely not laundered and fresh. Found piles of hair on the room rugs 3. It smelled like cigarette smoke when I first came in the back door and I checked the bin next to the french doors, there were cigarette butts from someone else 4. Took me a few minute every time trying to unlock the front door which the cleaner told me the lock was part of child safety system 5. Freezer, fridge and dishwasher were full of host's personal item 6. Had hair everywhere in the toilet, toilet lids, corners, showers, basins...
