Very spacious house for 5 of us

There is a little travel involved to Kilkenny but once you are ok with that, it is grand

We attended a 2 Day wedding in mountain view and we stayed at Fred's house in Stoneyford Village. 10 min drive to the wedding venue. Arranged for local taxi to pick us up. Very comfortable house with cozy beds. Pub next door for drinks. Village also has a shop for breakfast supplies and a local cafe.

Great house that was not far from the wedding we were attending Mountain view. Clean and spacious in the center of Stoneyford. Our host who also has the pub next door couldn't have been more helpful. The down stair bedroom and bathroom looks like it had been recently updated.

Lovely house spotlessly clean Fred was very welcoming and a lovely few goodies left for our use the pub next door was a great spot for a few drinks and to meet people would definitely go back again

Our host Fred has been a super host making every effort to make our stay pleasent and easy. He responded very quickly to any enquiries we had. He had even bought water, cookies, milk and butter for us beforehand! The house is spacious with big rooms and comfortable beds with good mattresses. The house is very nice and clean, the towels super soft and all it all it suited the purpose of having a good and cozy time perfect. It was always possible to park the car right outside. Eventhough the road is right outside the windows, there’s not a lot of traffic noise. Stoneyford is a very small village, yet it still has a lovely pub right next door (Fred’s pub), a take away place with an elaborate menu and a very little grocery store with the essentials for simple meals. We were told there’s also a lovely cafe but unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to visit it this time. We give Fred’s Stoneyford Village our best recommendations.

As an idea to improving the stay, it would be nice if there were electrical plugs in the bathrooms for using hairdryers. it would also be nice if there was some sort of a small coffee table by the sofa in the living room. Those are minor details because all in all it’s a great place!
