After flying to Boston from Australia (30 hour trip), we planned to rest for 4 days prior to attending a 6 day Convention. The room was spacious and clean and centrally located on the Subway line into the CBD. It was a real insight into heritage American guesthouse condition. Bed was excellent. Enjoyed the 4th July celebrations immensely. Management reacted quickly to fix 2 small requirements. If you need to open a window for fresh air, be prepared for train noise. Didn't affect us.

I was attending a conference at Hynes Convention Center and tried to find a place to stay more affordable than the hotels. This was a perfect spot. Directly across from a T station, 2 stops to the Convention center, walkable neighborhood. For me, it was perfect because the sound of the train lulled me to sleep, then served as a gentle alarm in the morning. Everything I needed was provided, snacks, drinks, towels, bathroom necessities like soap and shampoo, and utensils for eating. Seriously, it was better than a hotel room. It was a one-room home. I recommend that anyone traveling alone that needs a convenient place to stay for a short trip to a great city.
