It was beautiful. The food was good

The mattress was horrible. Bed springs in our backs. Couldn’t sleep at all. It was cold one night and the next night we were sweating all night.

The desk clerk was wonderful to us and very helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. The property was outstanding, interesting and historical. Loved the cannonballs left from the Civil War in the structure of the house from the seige of Vicksburg.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist schön und es gibt genug Platz. Das Frühstück ist gut es gab an jedem Tag was anderes. Es ist schön das man alle Räume besichtigen kann

Es war alles gut nur der Garten vor dem Haus könnte etwas mehr lieben gebrauchen.

Het was er erg vuil, ik snap dat het oude moeilijk schoon te houden is, maar aan de ingang staat bv. water op een tafeltje en daarnaast een beeld en dat hing al vol spinnenwebben, daar kan je niet naast kijken! Ook de kamer kan veel beter gepoetst worden, plint op de badkamer vol stof en haar, en het gordijn is zeer lichtdoorlatend! Ondanks het mooie pand veel te duur voor wat het is want het ontbijt was zeer triest...mini schaaltje fruit met 1 mini broodje, en je krijgt je gewenste ei zonder verder iets van brood erbij, echt heel triest! Kortom ze proberen het met veel streken te verkopen omwille van het pand,aar eigenlijk kunnen ze zich beter concentreren op beter schoonmaken en eer ontbijt!

This was a great property located in historic Vicksburg MS. The check in was easy, and Amy was wonderful and helpful. We had drinks in the lounge with Anthony and I did not get the female server’s name. They were very nice and we enjoyed their conversation. Room was wonderful clean and well equipped. Grounds were immaculately groomed. Great breakfast too. Great value. We will return if our travels take us to Vicksburg again.

It is located in a very undesirable part of town. It is not in in a safe location. Surrounding are is very run down.

The Inn was all decked out for Christmas and was absolutely gorgeous. The bar was awesome as well.

The only reason I didn’t give perfect tens is because the king bed wasn’t big enough and we were awakened by a security camera installer whom we thought was an intruder!

Wir konnten früher einchecken. Das Personal war überall freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders erfreut waren wir über den wunderschönen Pool, an dem uns ab 17.00 Getränke und ein Imbiss serviert wurde. Das Haus ist authentisch eingerichtet und vermittelt die Atmosphäre des alten Südens. Die Innenstadt erreichten wir in 15' zu Fuß. Unsere Fahrzeuge konnten wir im Innenbereich abstellen.

Det er en fantastisk perle som vi ikke vil have være foruden på vores rejse. Bestilte det "tilfældigt" på vejen mod New Orleans, men hold da op en positiv overraskelse. Stor 92 kvm værelse med balkon og luksusværelser. Følte det lidt som at være ankommet tilbage i tiden til "Borte med blæsten" . Havde vi kendt dette sted på forhånd, havde vi taget nogle flere dag, men pga. af aftaler, kunne vi desværre ikke blive mere end en overnatning.

The staff did not show me around, just handed me room key. The parking is weird. The walk up and down the stairs was terrible.

Very beautiful property and one thing we enjoyed so much is how they’ve tried to keep everything as original as possible.

The home is beautiful. So much history. Wish the walls could talk. Preservation of the property is wonderful. The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was excellent. If you love American history, you will love this place.
