the beds and quilts were comfy. the kitchen had good equipment. its cosy.

the location was abit confusing. there are two places on google maps for "Slow Travel Myvatn", we actually went to the wrong location before. The coordinates sent to us were not directly paste-able on google maps as well. value-wise, this place was the most expensive stay for us in iceland, hence less in value for me.

Extremely homey with all the interesting decorations. Kitchen was with all the cooking ware we need. We also purchased the homemade Stone Bramble jam at a very reasonable price that we enjoyed during breakfast.

Such a cute little home. The owners have worked so hard to share the history of their house and the region. Really well equipped, super comfortable beds, lovely photographs and local ephemera. Extremely warm and cozy. Very eco-friendly and sustainable - top marks for this. We’d definitely return.

Degree of renovation The fact that everywhere are things you can buy. Slowtravel is fine, ecology also. But the attempt to sell things at extensive prices is purely capitalistic...

The house is lovely, we recommend! Not just very well equipped with anything you might need, but also spatious and really has a home feel. The hosts put so much effort into making our stay also informative and educational with the many info sheets and traditional items in the house. All the sights are super near by so we could reach the warm home quickly after windy and snowy walks :)
