Wonderful neighborhood in. Super conveniently located. Easy to navigate out of it. And the house is cool!

While celebrating thanksgiving with our son’s family who lives in Edina, our daughters family and we stayed at here. The accommodations where very functional for 4 adults and for 4 kids. The kitchen was will stocked. There was also a great supply of books and games to enjoy. . We had a great experience staying in this home that has been featured in “Dwell”

We enjoyed the stay and the ambiance of this property! Great location! The exterior was magical with the trees, snow and lighting.

Our stay at the FlatPak House was wonderful! Hosts were friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. No issues, however if we had run into anything, hosts are located just a street away. Spacious and open floor plan. We enjoyed exploring the interesting layout and book collection. Our favorite part was the location. 15 minutes or less to many main attractions. Lovely neighborhood. Trails directly behind house as well as Cedar Lake and beach nearby. Downtown is a short ride by car. We walked to the Walker Art Center and enjoyed checking out the different houses we passed by. There appears to be construction going on directly behind the house for the light rail installation, although we didn't hear any of it during our stay with the only evidence from trucks coming by once in a while. At times you can hear the conversation of the bikers and walkers on the trail which was amusing. And a train does pass through sporadically which is stated upfront in the descriptions, Despite all this, it truly was NOT bothersome (coming from a light sleeper) and added to the uniqueness of the location. Enough room for guest's items (and all unavailable closets and spaces are clearly labeled). Kids bedrooms are ideal for just that, kids (would be difficult for tall adults). The other bedrooms are suitable for adults and there are open areas to put down an air mattress if need be. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the area as much as we did. Yard is big enough to play in. Just be aware that it is partially enclosed. Trees and shrubbery make up the sides where curious dogs could sneak through if distracted by neighborhood squirrels or bikers. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

A wonderful place to enjoy with the family while in Minneapolis. Owner is ultra responsive and made everything on our vacation fantastic
