Nothing

We got a call when we was 20 minutes away from the property for check in & was told that we couldn't check in & that we had to reschedule or take another property. We were 6 hours away from home so we had to take another property that was smaller than what we had reserved and we couldn't turn around because I worked all day & got on the road to get there and was too tired to drive 6 hours back. Once we got to the other property it was not big enough, nothing like what was explained to us, the hot tub had mold in it and we didn't have hot water the entire weekend after being told every hour that someone was on the way to fix the problem. I was told by email that we would get a refund within a week (and I have every message) and it is 2 months later and no one will respond.

Location was good for what we like to do. Creek side was even better

Beautiful quiet area. The creek was beautiful running along the property. Very comfortable beds.Hot tub was nice as well

When I booked for our group;I was specifically looking for a place with a pool. On the booking site it stated twice there was a private pool. We had been on the motorcycles all day and everyone was looking forward to cooling down in the pool. When we arrived there was a sign that the pool could not be used. I contacted the owner and asked for a small reimbursement for the inconvenience and was told that a pool was never listed on the site. I even sent screenshots to tell her otherwise. No response other than I’m sorry

Creek

The pool is closed, we were told it was included and would be open. It was half full, dirty and no one had any intentions of it being open. I called and asked why the pool was closed and they said the pool cleaning company would be contacting me, they did not! When I called back Booking, Vacas both said it was not listed on there sites as being included, this is a lie, I have screenshots of all both companies advertising it as included along with the fb page of Meadow Manor. The cleaning crew left so much to be cleaned, two of the exterior doors do not lock so everytime we left we had to take valuables with is, not to mention being worried at bedtime rhat anyone could come in. Two men walked up and started fishing right beside the porch, there were so many little items left on the porch and our 15 month old grandbaby found a small Lego so we started looking and picking everything up. We found several legos all over the house, as well as on the porch along with a safety pin and coins. I asked for some form of compensation and each company says it is the other company's responsibility. I rented from Booking.com and yes it is advertised on their page. I fb messaged Meadow Creek Manor and they checked the message but never replied. The day I checked out another guest checking in in July asked if the pool was open and they answered yes, even though I had sent the message that it was filthy and closed! We would have stayed in town at a hotel with a pool and only booked here for the quiet of a private pool. I explained how stressful the trip had been made by the companies lying about the pool and blaming each other, except for Meadow Manor(they never messaged me back) We wanted one last trip before m6 husband , who was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago starts his treatments and feels sicker, they did not care. All I wanted was honesty and Vacas and Booking said they do not advertise the pool as included, but they do advertise it. FALSE ADVERTISING.
