Excellent location. Beautiful hotel. Large car park and we were able to park earlier than our check in time.

We met up with friends and we all thought the bar was very expensive ! The hotel itself was fabulous.

I dont think there's enough room for me to write how beautiful and amazing this place is. From the minute we walked through the door at arrival to the minute we left we were looked after 1000%. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and just went above and beyond to make our staycation with our v.i.p (very important pet) one we will treasure and remember. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, loved the selection. Also the meals at night were so homely and didn't feel like we were eating in a pub, felt very fine dining.

Staff went above and beyond, our annex room was perfect especially with having our dog with us. Having our own outside seating area outside our room was perfect!! Food was 10/10 and the hotel and rooms were immaculate

Breakfast average. Had to request items to be restocked on more than one occasion.

Allocated rooms 101 & 102 outside property and room 124 within the property although booking was made for 3 rooms within the party. Rooms 101 & 102 had broken window latches and therefore the noise from busy road could be heard and kept us awake. Room 102 also had generator outside the window enabling very little sleep to be had. This room should not be allocated to guests with generator so near to it. Toilet rolls had not been replenished within these two rooms also and having asked for them on 2 occasions we eventually received them. No shower floor mat & hand towel in room 101. Very disappointed for the money paid.

It was a lovely pub downstairs and the room was clean and well presented. It was in a great location too

It was noisy. We were in a room above the door and banged non stop from around 6.30 when people got up. The breakfast was fine - quite cold but good choice and the staff were nice but a little chaotic come checking in and checking out time.

The hotel is beautifully decorated in a perfect position in Knaresborough. Rooms were imaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very nice, breakfast was buffet and beautiful. Plenty of parking

The food could have been cheaper, burger meal could have had a side salad included and Rhubarb crumble was really sour

Only drawback was having to wait until 7.30am for breakfast which isn't ideal for those heading to work.

All very well decorated and exceptionally clean

The room was very well equipped and a good size. Bathroom facilities were very good.

The staff were very efficient and friendly. The key card system had gone down just as we arrived and the staff managed a really awkwrd problem very well having to manually open doors for all guests. A bit of a nightmare for them. The thermostat on the heating in our room was difficult to adjust as the valve had been fitted with the switch marker invisible.. The staff sorted this out straight away and gave us a fan to cool down the sauna like temperature.. We could not leave the window open as we were ground floor with a path outside and the window could not be secured l without allowing potential access to the room. If it had been vey hot weather this would have been a problem. So easy to fit a lockable adjustment allowing it to be left slightly open without inviting a break in. The breakfast ws a bit disappointing. Self service caffeteria style. Some of the food had been out some time. The eggs were solid and the bacon under cooked everything lukewarm. Plates too small for the full breakfast [ we are light eateres ] and hardly even warm.

Location perfect for a short walk into town via the high street or riverbank. Excellent accommodation, recently refurbished, breakfast was also superb. Would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant round the corner on the main road Carriages and also excellent pizza restaurant in the courtyard off the market place, Two Brothers both definitely worth a visit.

A little picky but the shower head could have been bigger!!!! Lovely double sized shower with only one small spray head.

Great food,staff and room. Very dog friendly. The breakfast and staff deserve a special mention. We only had an overnight stay but are contemplating a longer stay soon.

Fabulous room, very spacious and comfortable. Lovely atmosphere in the Inn, we went in November and it was tastefully decorated for Christmas. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Rooms comfortable, good nights sleep, clean with room amenties. In a great position - staff very helpful.

Breakfast ruined on first day by issues with milk dispenser but once raised with staff action taken. Would have benefited by having wider selection of cereals and a fruit salad. Also separate vegetarian aspects from meat products. Door locks were temperamental and could be either difficult to close or open.

The staff were very attentive, the grounds well kept. Breakfast was excellent with good variety on the buffet. The food was well cooked and of good quality.

The lighting in the bathroom was very poor. (Room 23). The light above the mirror did not work. Paintwork in the hotel was definitely a bit tired. There was not evening meals available, although the hotel did recommend local restaurants to eat in.

The staff was ok

The room did not have any latch on the window. When asked to sort this out, they changed the room, which was smaller, dirtier and dated. We asked for a reduction in price since the room was smaller, but they refused. The mattress itself was so uncomfortable that we struggled to sleep. Overall, the price we were charged seemed very high for the standard we received
