Beautiful old hotel. Very welcoming on arrival. Lovely spacious room with huge bathroom. Walking distance to all sites

The hotel is beautiful and located within walking distance to Museum Island. It also has an interesting WWII history. Upon check-in, we were swiftly greeted and the hotel manager assisted us with completing our check-in and offered us coffee. Check-in was easy and we were up in our room within 10 minutes. (Very grateful for that!) Upon entering my room, I could see the attention to detail in design. My room was the Roomy City View. I had an amazing view of TV Tower. The bed was large and very comfortable, the bathroom also nicely sized with an amazing shower. There was ample storage and seating. I was also happy to see nicely stocked drinks and snacks. I love the blend of art deco and modern. Kudos to the design team. On our last morning, we ordered room service. It was priced reasonable and came quickly. One note, we did try to call the room service line, but got no answer after several attempts. I ended up calling the front desk and the woman took our order and ensured it was delivered. Suggestion: I tried using the room phone to call the front desk, but was confused about how to dial. I would suggest adding instructions on how to dial for international visitors like myself. Very happy with our stay at Telegraphenamt. We would stay again. Thank you for making our stay comfortable, safe, and unforgettable.

The hotel is beautifully maintained and the front desk super friendly. The location is unmatched - close to museums, public transportation, restaurants, etc. However, breakfast service could be improved as well as variety in the menu for those who choose the breakfast option on Expedia.

Amazingly well-designed. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is not buffet style but the food is very tasty and there are a few options to choose from. Location is impeccable, very near to museum island with lots of beautiful buildings around. Definitely recommended

We loved this property from the kettle and tea in the room to the powerful shower heads. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was so helpful, and the location was top notch. A gorgeous property.

Perfectly located for the museum goer, the space is beautifully renovated, chic, with an excellent bar and restaurant.

Little storage and definitely could’ve arranged better. Service was very hit & miss. On my last day out of 5 the service manager and one of her employees were 5 star service but everybody else fell short.

A real gem of architecture and style, this beautiful hotel is perfectly located within walking distance from the best areas of Berlin. I would highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay here next time I’m in Berlin. Only complaint is the air conditioning was not working well (noisy and not powerful).

The front desk staff are really helpful but I think this hotel has a serious problem with management. First there is clearly only one to two people working for room service which is ridiculous- spend some money and hire adequate staff. I called down for room service for thirty minutes straight this morning before I got an answer. Then last night we couldn’t figure out how to turn our lights off and keep the power on to charge our phone and the woman who came up to help us also had no idea and was just as confused as us. What sent me over the edge was I went to Root the restaurant and I was talking to the restaurant staff and I asked for a menu. I turned to the restaurant staff and said “Can I make a res-“ and a man walks in cuts me off mid-sentence they all started to attending to him. It was so rude, the whole staff left to help him and I just stood there. I tried to get their attention by walking over there and they ignored me. I’m not saying it’s because I am a young woman and that was a man but that is what I’m saying. This hotel and restaurant needs better service and training resources. It looks cool, but that’s about it.

Amazing hotel! From the lady on reception checking us in to the guys behind the bar serving us cocktails the service was exceptional! Obviously helps if you are nice too. The receptionist arranged our room immediately even tho we arrived before midday. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Lights did not work our entire stay. And they did not clean the room after we asked them 4 times.

We loved everything about this place, from the design to amenities and staff. It was great! Only suggestion to the hotel would be exploring options for non android connection to tv, or Netflix access. Though the city is so amazing tv time is limited anyway. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a very handsome old building with the hotel renovated to a very high standard. Sadly the staff seem to have very little experience in hospitality. House keeping is forgetful with some sort of omission on a daily basis. I would recomend this hotel for the location, but the service leaves a lot to be desired

What a stellar hotel. Classy, stylish, hip and happening. Must say, the staff is exceptionally friendly. In the restaurant, bar, reception, everyone was remarkably accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. Pricey? yes! Worth it? Yes.

I am so pleased with this gem of a hotel, centrally located in Berlin which allowed me to enjoy a bit of fun and a bit of work during my first trip to the city. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly and helped make the stay that much more enjoyable. The design, comfort and delicious food in the hotel restaurant were all excellent. I will be coming back!
