This was an excellent property, perfect for our family of 5. The property was clean, the check-in process and text with information was next-level. Steps away from the beach, restaurants and shopping, we just wish the weather was warmer.

The property was comfortable and close to restaurants and stores. We loved using the bikes.

This beautiful home is perfection on the inside and could not be closer to anything and everything on Coronado! Placed basically across the street from the Hotel del Coronado it is prime real estate for sure. Our group could walk to all of the lovely shops/restaurants along Orange Ave with ease, we could walk across the street to the beach in mere minutes and ride the bikes (that were provided)down Silver Strand! The home had everything and more. It is clean, beautifully decorated and we would recommend it to anyone coming to the Coronado/San Diego area!

My family of five stayed in this amazing house. The location is wonderful, the backyard is lovely, the beds are so comfortable! I can’t say enough about this place! My kids (ages 11-7) loved it as well. The best part is we met my brothers family and my mom and they rented the downstairs portion of this house making this the perfect place to rent if you are visiting families.

Wonderful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (one shower only) in truly the BEST, most convenient area right across the street from the del and tons of restaurants and shops. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Communication with property management was a breeze. Try to get the bottom unit at the same time if it’s available!

This was the perfect place for myself and a group of friends who have known each other for 40 years. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed being able to hang out all together in this BEAUTIFUL property. The communication was fantastic as well. I will keep this one on my list for future stays.

Great welcome package to weary travelers! Place was perfect for our family of 6. The location was amazing, across from the Del, the beds comfortable, cute kitchen, we enjoyed the bikes, yard was nice, people below us were so friendly and can't wait to go back. Thanks for a great weekend.

Very nice location. Good parking. All amenities functioned well. Air conditioner made it nice and comfortable. Beds were great. Had all the utensils and pots needed to cook. We were able to walk to the beach and enjoy the sunsets and also walk to local restaurants.

A block from the beach behind the Del Coranado. Surrounded by restaurants is a real plus. I really wanted a 2 bathroom. I thought it had 2 bathrooms based on the info. Really only a 1 and 1/2 bathroom. One of the welcome gifts, a Common Good coffee was fabulous. I would re t from Bluewater again.

Second floor apartment. Great location. Off street parking. Nicely furnished and roomy. Bicycles and beach items included. One Block from beach. Outdoor shower. Very comfortable. We did not cook there, but very nice kitchen. We would definitely stay there again. On the negative side, there are 2 bathrooms per description, but only one shower total. Thermostat for a/c was behind the door in one of the bedrooms which made it completely ineffective. It was either too hot or too cold.

Owner was amazing. Property was spectacular!! The home is tucked away to provide privacy but allows you to step outside and enjoy the best spots of Coronado. Literally across the street from Hotel Del and Orange ave. Could not be a better location. We will be back.

Great location

This was a third time my wife and family stayed at the carriage house. Janice is a wonderful and gracious host. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units and as expected they were extremely well-kept and immaculately clean.

This was our 3rd stay in the upstairs unit. We now call it our “pretend life” home. Everything works for our family. The location, the accommodations, and the private setting of the condo. Our favorite part is opening all the windows and front door to allow the ocean breeze to consume us. Thank you for providing a safe and private home for my family. We will eventually have to move downstairs with our growing family ~but hope to continue our yearly tradition at CCQ.

My wife and our son (18 months old) stayed on the second floor. It was in excellent condition and it exceeded our expectations. I will say, if you can get the first floor, get it! The second floor is really great, too, but the first floor is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at the CCQ. It was my husband and I and our 3 kids (6, 4, and 9 months). Overall it was a great spot in terms of location and cleanliness and overall satisfaction. I would say there were a few small things that could have been changed that would have made a big difference. First of all, if you have small children, there is no bath tub (only shower) and the kitchen sink is very small (my nine month old barely fit). They also do not provide any amenities for small children so you have to bring everything (no pack n play, high chair, toys, etc). The kitchen in general is extremely small and has very limited counter space. And there is a huge table taking up most of the space in the kitchen. Again, all of these things are not deal breakers, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Thanks again for a nice stay!

Will definitely hopefully return in the future

This was our first Vrbo experience! It was a lovely one! A few little things that would have made it Perfect! We would have liked a tv in the 3rd room! A few bars of soap in the shower. This unit is a fantastic location for a few days in Coronado! We used the chairs and went to the beach at the Del! Our unit’s kitchen was not updated. We didnt do any grilling. I think the owners do a great job with cleanliness! Keep in mind you are on the street so there is noise and lots of light comes in. That didnt bother me at all! I slept in the twin bed and would have preferred a duvet rather than the blankets they used. I assumed they were washed between uses. The king master room was fabulous! Great bedding! The beds were all very comfortable! All in all we really enjoyed our stay! I would recommend it! A few water bottles in the fridge when we checked in would have been great too! I actually did a load of laundry. It is outside. Not a big deal! The house has another unit downstairs. That one I would definately look into. Another complaint… upstairs unit cant use the lounge chairs in the yard. Upstairs just gets the upstairs landing. For 4 days it wasnt a big deal. We would have used those lounge chairs in the yard every day if we were allowed! Again… I rent based on reviews. I like to be thorough! Coronado Island is so lovely! I am sad to leave!

We had a great stay at CCQ! We will definitely be back again soon. The location, amenities (bikes, games), and rooms were perfect for our family escape to Coronado! It was nice to have access to multiple rooms and a kitchen. The host made everything cozy and completely enjoyable!

This condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our 1 and 3 year old. We took particular advantage of the awesome beach wagon for shuttling around our two happy girls. Highly recommend and are checking dates for a return trip.

Great property just steps from the historic Hotel Del Coronado and a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is centrally located from all the best rated restaurants in the area and grocery shopping is very close by.

This place is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect spot for us on the island.

The place was great. The location is excellent. Very short walk to the beach. The Del Coronado is across the street, and there are many restaurants in short walking distance. Beach gear and bikes are provided with the rental. And the place is superb -- nicely decorated, and well appointed. Plus private parking. Janice, the host, was great. A highly recommended rental.

The decor was beautiful. The location couldn’t be beat. A little noisy with the windows open, but to be expected that close to the heart of town. Provided beach gear was so helpful. Janice was a great host, and even provided welcome gifts. Would definitely stay again

We had such a great experience at Coronado Carriage Quarters! We flew in for a business trip, and this was a perfect location for easy access to anything bay-front in San Diego. The owner, Janice, was so sweet and wonderful to work with. We arrived and she had personalized cookies made along with a bottle of wine chilled. CCQ offered tons of little extras like large beach towels, beach toys, and bikes. The home was so cute and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, and we hope to return next year!

To summarize: - Janice went out of her way to make sure our entire family was comfortable upon our arrival to Coronado. Our family was so impressed with accommodations and Janice’s hospitality that we are planning to repeat this same vacation, annually. - Likely would be considered one of if not the most centrally located homes in all of Coronado. Literally walking distance to Coronado hotel, beach, and top restaurants. - Accommodations for kids were fantastic. My three year old son packed up all of Janice’s beach toys into two separate beach wagons that are easily accessible in homes storage unit and a few minutes later we were ocean side making sand castles and playing games. Janice also has a number of stylish beach bikes that are easily accessible for ride in beach or around town. - The overall ambiance of Coronado house was also amazing! New upscale modern finishes that made you feel like you had walked into a beachside paradise! Having your own exclusive courtyard garden to visit with family and friends (and or bbq) within 200 yards of the The Hotel Del, can’t be beat! In summary our entire family would highly recommend staying at the Coronado carriage home! We had a wonderful vacation due in part to the lovely Coronado Carriage House we stayed in. It was very comfortable for a family of 6. The unit is fully stocked with everything you need for in-home meals to a day at the beach (sand wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.), and 6 bikes for island cruising. Beautiful decor! Our host Jaince made sure we had everything we needed and we look forward to returning next year!

We had the pleasure of staying here for nine days. The house is beautiful and has an unbeatable location just a block away from the beach. The house has everything you need including laundry, parking, bikes, beach equipment, and is right by shopping and restaurants. The owner is super responsive and great to work with. We plan on coming back next year!

My family and I stayed for almost a week and couldn't have been happier. The place was extremely clean, the location was fabulous, amd the owner met with us and did everything to make sure we had a great stress free trip! It was a great location for my 3 and 7 year old and we will definitely be back!
